its has the curved body ,but its a different bass than in your pic , mine has pickguard and control plate which i think is a older model , pm if still interested

the tokai sounds and plays great ,but the aria is the best player i have

aria black & gold 1 1983, tokai hard puncher 1984, columbus jazz 1970s (needs pups),fender areodyne jazz 2006 mij , and my only non japcrap tobias growler 2007

I have a tobias growler 4 string , its a super bass ,sounds great ,plays great

The growlers have only one pickup , its more like a Killer B

i just got a Tokai h/puncher , i love the sound and feel of it. but i the neck is slighty back bowed around the 7th to 12th fret area which is causing fret buzz. i have adjusted the truss rod to try and level the neck out but it becomes too loose(the truss rod nut is at the heel of the neck) its not bad but i like a low action .i put 50-110 string on it but made no difference. any suggestions . cheers
