      I thought this was a site for advice and help?

      I didn't want to sound like a novice but tabs have helped me learn and we all have to start at the beginning.

      cheers

      "Transcribe!" is another good software for slowing music down, and changing the Key to help you transcribe it.

      Failing that here's the piano score: https://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtd.asp?ppn=MN0067869

      TAB users sometimes get a hard time.  Ignore it.  If you want to make progress you have to adopt a thick skin with this and a lot of other issues that cause heated debate.

      I am a TAB user.  When someone says I am wrong to use it I take it as an attempt to undermine the progress that I have already made.  Rather than waste time in debate about why TAB is the better option than score for me I move on and allow the more elitist comments to pass.

      TAB suits my limitations and I have no wish to become a virtuoso.  I'm doing it for fun.

      @MWH and @j692001;

      The song LWL is seen as one of the easier ones so you won't find many TABs on the 'net because most people learn it by ear or use a method such as the one Hiram has described.

      This is perhaps a good time to try writing your own TAB.  Reading TAB is relatively easy for folk like you and me.  Writing it isn't too hard either.  Writing is an essential part of your skill set even if it is only good enough to make a rough outline of your bassline.

      Writing notes for yourself is just one of the challenges you will have to face eventually and indeed you may learn to enjoy the freedom it gives you to experiment.  In addition; don't discount the possibility that standard notation is something you'd find useful to learn later if you find the limits of TAB somewhere down the line.

      Look at it as a challenge.  I wish you both every success.
