Well you learn something new every day.
At 15/16 I was heavily into skating and had just started playing bass.
I could have been a trend setter were it not for the fact I was crap at both.

The closest I ever got was one of the fifteen thousand or so claimed to be member of The Drifters got up and walked out half way through our set at a charity gig.
Which henceforth gave birth to our pre gig team cheer "F##K THE DRIFTERS!".

That looks like a Powell Peralta Bones Brigade sticker.
I had the same design on a few t-shirts back in the day.
Are you a skater?

I couldn't do iTunes.
My loathing of all things Apple runs so deep I wouldn't even eat an apple pie. 🤣

I suppose prompted by the Atmos/Spatial Audio version of Band On The Run, I'm questioning whether it's time to reconsider moving from Spotify to Apple Music.
I've been with Spotify for years, have no real issues with the general audio quality, although my ears do detect a less woolly quality if I'm listening to a lossless source (ie off a NAS). I suppose the majority issue is that we have dozens of playlists in Spotify and whether I can be donkeyed enough to rebuild these on another platform.
I'd be interested to hear whether anyone has actually listened to BOTR on Apple Music and what else is actually up there in this format.
Have you looked at Tidal?
I've been using it for the past couple of years or so and it P's all over Spotify for content and sound quality.

That looks nice. Is it a kit build?

He's an absolute monster of a player, absolutely no doubt about it, and this kind of thing is great as an exhibition piece to show off his chops. But more than a few minutes of it would get tedious rather quickly. Despite how good he is.
I think he's totally aware of this and uses these kinds of video appropriately as a showcase. He's an amazingly talented musician.

Isn’t it about time we de-funded the Apostrophe Police for being a total PITA?
It is wearing rather thin.

Ooh. A Fender I like the look of.
A rare beast indeed.
Very nice. 👌

Just been watching a few sound comparisons of this on YouTube up against a Warwick and the Cort absolutely blew the Warwick out of the water.
I've always said a Cort with any big name badge would be at least double the price.
I wish I'd got the funds to buy. I'd be all over this.

what's the neck like please? any other info you can give?
It's lovely when she wears a low cut top. But sometimes she wears a turtle neck and totally spoils it.

Nah. Life's too short.
I was a bouncer for a good few years back in the day and well and truly had my fill of this kind of sh@t.
It's one of the reasons I don't enjoy gigging, or even socialising in a strange place. I've seen so much shit happen in pubs and bars that I just can't relax around drunks. Unless I'm one of them, which is not conducive to gigging.
Thankfully it's not as much of an issue where I live now because there's just not the same drinking mentality. But I still struggle with anxiety and find it very difficult to relax on gigs.

Result!
I've been tempted many times to order a Chickenbacker, but Ali Express anxiety aside, the import process here in Bulgaria can be an absolute nightmare and it's just not worth the hassle.

Nice buy.
They're superb little things those Junior Jets. Great build quality for the price. I had one for a while but just couldn't get on with short scale. Otherwise I would have kept it.

I like it! 😆
Although I'm not sure my back would, and I can't see what possible use a twin neck bass would be. Surely it would make more sense for one of the necks to be a guitar?

There's a guy local to me who had a great band. Then he refused to work with anyone who isn't vegan.
He's now a solo act with an acoustic guitar.
True story.

I'm intrigued by this. Apologies for the slight derailing of a for sale thread, but take it as a bump.
As far as I was aware, Gotoh and Wilkinson are two very different companies. Wilkinson being a well respected, yet budget end brand, and Gotoh being considered higher end.
This is the first time I've ever seen Wilkinson by Gotoh. It looks pretty decent but I can't find much information on Google.
Anybody got any background on these?

Would rather be gigging than sitting on my arse.
Music is meant to be played live and not confined to the bedroom.

Nope.
I have a grand total of two straps.
Both black.

Ah the joys of gigging.
I went to the bar last night. Had a couple of beers. Got home. Watched a bit of telly. Only thing I had to carry was my wallet.
You've got to absolutely love the gigging thing to put up with it. I never did.
