  3. Another fan here, have purchased at least 8 basses from Mark and the gang over the years, all were delivered perfectly, set-up well, well packaged and they are always happy to help. Hope they are reading these comments!

  4. I have been saving for quite a while for my dream Fretless a Wal MK (anything) in four or five string, then early this morning I get a mail from a mate who has seen one for sale on the Bass Gallery and go to the website immediately, I eagerly pop ithe beauty into the basket and pay.

I am over the moon with the thought of my dreams coming true, I receive the email confirmation and then try and work out how to hide it from the other half and two hours later I get a phone call from them, and my face goes from smile to frown in a second, there is a mix up and someone bought it overnight via bank transfer...

    ouch and double blooming ouch!

    Not so smiling Steve.

  5. That’s just lovely, the current waiting list is over 3 years and they don’t appear to lock in the current price, so in 3 plus years you may be paying considerably more than the current stated £6.5k. Sorely tempted, but the other half knows exactly Wal are the Rolls Royce of basses and I won’t have picked it up for a fiver! 😉

    Good luck with the sale!

  6. Stunning Sterling by Musicman Ray34 in quilted maple finish with roasted maple neck. £545 for bass chatters plus postage.

Comes with original Sterling padded nylon carry bag. (Please note also advertised elsewhere)

  7. Probably, but they are as rare as hens teeth and I have been searching for a year for one, the price I paid wasn't too bad. I don't mind paying for a service and repair if required, just trying to find a reputable repair business that can return her to better days. 😉
