1. hi guys, once again the debt monkeys are at the door so its time to flog off some of my studio gear (boo hoo). anyway here goes. Mackie DFX-12 - exellent little mixer, served me well both in the studio and at the occasional live gig. Typical Mackie clean sound and definately built like a tank. in absolutely mint condition internally, everything working correctly etc. Unfortunately i scratched it whilst taking some tape off under the faders, (as seen in photos) and am a complete git. paid about £250 for this about 3 years ago, just watched one go on ebay for £120 so offers around this mark would be great. Fostex DE-10 - never used this, it was a spontaneous purchase around a year ago when i came across some hardware being sold as a job lot. Ive not idea who these were aimed at but heres a review from sound on sound way back in 2002. http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/aug02/arti.../fostexde10.asp how does £40 plus postage sound? Lexicon MPX-550 - reverb unit. - awesome little rack mountable reverb. Bit gutted to be letting this go TBH, it has a lovely array of reverbs and some funky little harmony functions that are very usable live. Heres the sound on sound review http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/jan03/arti...xiconmpx550.asp these cost around £400 new so how does £150 ono sound? Behringer MULTICOM PRO-XL - rackable 4 way compressor unit, pretty useful piece of kit, mainly used for live sound on drum kit. http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/product/2200...m_campaign=base these retail for about £100 so how does £40 sound? would prefer these units to be collected but i will send them if its impossible for you to get near Manchester. thanks for looking! Andy

5. Hi guys, After breaking my second accousitc upright :S Im gonna sit tight and just play my Yamaha SLB100 for a while until i can afford to buy a new bass with a hard case. Ive got a couple of pickups for sale, a Fishman BP-100 and a planetwing. Ive also got a Fishman platinum bass preamp. Ive used these in several different combinations. Ive used both pickups together running through a twin channel Phil Jones Suitcase. Ive even used the planet wing on my SLB. The Bp-100 gives a very balanced and even tone but lacks a little bit of 'wood'. I find that the Planet wing creates a very ''real' wooden sound and running through the fshman preamp sounds amazing. I recorded using the BP running through an Ampeg portabass rig and the engineer was so impressed he used most of the DI sound on the Album. You can hear this recording here. www.myspace.com/Beggarjoe. Im looking for about £75 for each of these. The BP-100 is adverstised on DV for £139, The planetwing retails for about 150 euros which google makes 131 quid and the fishman platinum is about £140. or ill sell the lot for £200 bargain or what?? thanks guys ReDD ps. all are in excellent condition and here are the adverts http://www.planet-pickups.com/ http://www.fishman.com/products/details.asp?id=10 http://www.fishman.com/products/details.asp?id=43

10. still for sale, im up for trades for a decent high end 4 or 5 string as well, maybe a warwick thumb etc etc
11. anyone interested? (shamelessly disguised bump)
12. damn im confused as well, think the bass centre have their pics mixed! i was convinced it was a CRT5 heres another link i found earlier http://www.electricviolinshop.com/cw_detai...&category=9
13. Ive had back and neck pains over the last 10 years, something that came from an old injury whilst messing around with chainsaws. various chriproactors and physio sessions later and i still get the pain. The main pain that guitarists get according to my chiro is because we hunch over our instruments whilst sitting. Im six foot 1 and have stupid long dangly arms and if i play anything of a shorter scale than a spector or a warwick thumb boy do i suffer! my chiro has given me loads of exercises that keep it at bay now which is cool.
14. yeah its the CR5 sorry my mistake, basscentre link here http://www.basscentre.com/product.asp?pID=267&cID=7
