1. Good advice from Bassmonkey above. When in Memphis absolute must do's are Stax Museum, Gracelands, Sun Records, Rock and Soul Museum, Gibson Guitar factory (get yourself onto one of the factory tours).

Beale Street is where it all happens most days of the week but the best evenings are on the weekend. Try and check out Rum Boogie Cafe as the house band there were great. BB Kings also has some good acts. Also if you get chance call into the Peabody Hotel just before 11.00am or 5.00pm for the duck parade B) It can only happen in the US. Oh and the Bass Pro shop has absolutely nothing to do with bass guitars  - still worth a visit however.

Nashville has quite a different scene, still very interesting though. Try and do the backstage tour at the Ryman Auditorium and also at the Grand Ole Opry. They broadcast shows most evenings from the Opry and its worth a visit. Its a bit of a lottery as to who will be performing but still worthwhile. The Country Music Hall of Fame is a must and this includes a trip out to the RCA Studio where literally over a 1000 of hits were recorded. Keep a look out at the City Winery as to who is performing there, they have some good acts and as previously been mentioned there are dozens of Honky Tonk bars along the strip all with live bands kicking off at mid-day until the early hours. And if you get all 'countried out' you can always call into BB Kings Blues Club in 2nd Ave North, just off Broadway - great house band there as well.

Quite a bit further north for you but if you have an opportunity try and get to Detroit and visit Motown Studio A.

You'll have an awesome time.

2. I've compared the photos in the ad closely to my MIC Modern Player Coronado and can't see any constructional differences so can only assume, as posted previously, that the special edition bit applies to the cherry burst option.

Great basses by the way, the finish on them is excellent, except for the control knobs which really could have been better. I do recommend that you try before you buy however as these basses are surprisingly heavy for what you would imagine them to be. Mine weighs in at exactly 10lbs.

3. Bought some strings off Will, they were as described and posted nice and quickly. Can't ask for anything more really.

Thanks again Will.

Highly recommended and would have no hesitation in dealing again. Thanks Simon.

6. And as if Phil hasn't suffered enough he keeps coming back for more :).

An absolute pleasure to deal with as always. A true gent and a credit to the BC community.

Buy and sell to this chap with absolute confidence folks.

8. Millenium Headphone HP4 amplifier - Now Sold

More details here on the Thomann website - http://www.thomann.d...lenium_hp_4.htm

The unit is basically as new. It has been in my amp rack but used once I think.

The advantage of this unit is that the 4 headphone channels can select any of the 4 stereo input channels so making it very flexible.

Happy to answer any questions. Price of £43 includes postage to your door within the UK.

9. 5kg doesn't sound right. As you say these basses are delight to play in terms of their weight. Mine weighs in at 4.1kg or 9.1lbs whichever you prefer.

I'm really impressed with mine, it's a well put together bass and sounds and feels great. How they do this for the money defeats me.

Whoever buys this will not be disappointed. GLWTS

10. Sold a Warwick bass to Chris.
No fuss, did exactly what he said he would. Easy, hassle free deal - would be more than happy to deal with again, a credit to the BC community.
Thanks again Chris and hope you have many happy hours playing it.

11. In answer to the above:

Weight 9.0lbs

Action can be described as average to low - measures 0.02 / 5th fret and 0.060 / 12th fret

Controls - the Warwick manual describes it much better than I can - see page 10 in the following link
