  1. Hi Joe mate,

No worries on first dibs bud but you might be waiting till I'm to old to carry it, ever since I saw the bassist in Cult of Luna use a Sunn 300t I was set on one. Glad to see you still have the GS412 I sold ya.

    Keep safe,

    Robbie.

  2. Hi Guys,

This is the first pictures of the RIM Hollowman, its a upright type of tapping stick come fretless Bass, Myself and mate Craige designed and made this at our work. Its made from Mild steel 60x30 box section and has a high gloss finish. The specs for the Hollowman are,

    Mild steel Box 60x30
    High gloss finish
    Bubinga body wings
    Sperzel tuners
Kent Armstrong Humbucker Passive Vol, Tone.
    Ali Custom Bridge

Its a very simple design and it really sounds great, its got the hollow sound and sustains nicely. We are thinking about offering these for sale and we would be looking for around £ 550.

I will use EMG Pickups in the next version, so if you want a simple 4,5 string upright then get in touch. We are aslo going to design a stand for the Hollowman using a cymbal Stand.

    Soundclips will come very soon,

    Craige loving the Hollowman!

    Cheers,

    Robbie.

  7. Cheers Guys,

It means alot to me, to see you love my work as much as I do. Gonna get started in a week or so on 3 necks and I hope you all look forward to the build threads in my section and on the website.

    Peace,

    Robbie.

  8. Alex is the man when it comes to FreQ's , I always smile when he talks to me about cabs and power stuff. To me if it sounds good Im happy. We had a good time teching out the 2460 against the El Whappo Jr, in the end the El Whappo had a slightly low bottom end on a flat setting of the Tfunk. But at 3 times the price Im sure we can just dial in abit more bottom on the 2460 right?

    Cheers,

    Robbie.

  9. It was a great day out, so who nicked my Padded Warwick gig bag. Someone picked it up by accident for sure, I dont remember putting it in the raffle :)

If any of you guys have it, it has a brown strap in the front pocket with Jim Dunlop flushmount straplocks on it.

All the same me and Craig had a great day, look forward to more in the future.

    Cheers,

    Robbie.

  10. Hi Guys,

Had a great time today, good to meet most of you and Ped your a Star!

It was cool to see so many nice basses amongst the barrage of bass notes being played. Fav bass of the day was The woods and Tronics Mark had with him.

    Keep safe guys,

    Robbie.
