  1. Marshall EH-1 Echohead Delay

Multi-mode delay pedal with tap tempo function

Used but boxed and in very good condition, it had velcro on it which has left residue on the rubber underneath.

Just not using delay on my board any more.

    £50. £5 postage.

    No Paypal!

  2. TC Electronic Thunderstorm Flanger

Great flanger pedal, does what you'd want from a flanger, just have no need for it any more and I'm now operating a strictly "sell before buy" policy with pedals so I don't amass a collection like I had 6 months ago.

The pedal is in fantastic condition, has velcro on the bottom and if wanted, I'll chuck in a foot switch topper for any one who likes pretty colours on their board.

Trade wise, if anything I'd only trade it for a Mooer Yellow Comp as I need that for my guitar board and essentially that's what this is being sold to pay for.

Can post at cost to buyer, I usually use "first class signed for" (I don't charge for packing materials like some sellers) which is £5.

Don't have PayPal I'm afraid but always provide receipt of bank transfer and provide proof of postage receipt as soon as the pedal is posted (always sent next day too!)

  3. Seymour Duncan SSL-5 bridge pickup, also known as the “David Gilmour” pickup.

Used in my Strat before swapping to custom shop pickups. Wires have been replaced as I’d cut them short so there wasn’t an excess of wire in the guitar.

Sounds fantastic and has a lot of output. If using with SD pickups, the white is the “hot” wire, but if using with Fender pickups, you have to use the black as the “hot” wire (more info on Google about that)

    £50 posted.

  4. Clearing out my parts drawer, I’ve got 2 preamps and 4 pickups to sell as a bundle.

the pickups are “EMG 40…” sized soapbars with P-type magnet arrangements and the preamps are (according to Google) very similar to the old HAZLAB preamps. Vol/blend/bass/treble (boost and cut).

They’re all from early Tobias basses and sound great but just not used.

2 of the pickups aren’t pictured as they’re currently back in a bass for the weekend while I was testing it.

Surely worth £50 to someone. £5 postage or collection is welcome.

Would also straight swap for an MXR Dyna Comp or Pedaltrain Metro 20 (must include the carry case).

  5. I've used so many different fuzz pedals on bass but always ended up back using my big box Bass Big Muff until it died.

If asingardenof doesn't take this, are there any trades you'd be interested in?

  6. Hello Mike,

First off, many thanks for your reply as i think that diagram will help a lot!
i should add the switch isn’t a Dimarzio switch, I just found that EMG use the same wire colour coding as Dimarzio, the switches are the standard DPDT ON-ON-ON 3 way mini toggles and judging by your 2nd diagram, they’re type 2 as the top left lug is left unused. Both switches were from the same retailer bought in the same transaction so can’t see them being different types to one another (I hope!)

I’ve noticed some slight differences in the way the diagram from Dimarzio and the diagram from Bartolini is wired up so I’ll try swapping the coloured wires first.

I think you’re right about the single coil hum cancelling thing too, I reckon that’s where I’ve balls’d it up. I’m going to pull the bass apart again tonight or tomorrow and have a go at it with the diagram you’ve provided. Whatever way the bridge pickup is wired up, I’ll go with the opposite diagram for the neck pickup.

There was nothing on the EMG page to suggest they were RW/RP but it would make total sense that they are. Tbh, the EMG pages are extremely unhelpful anyway.

    Thanks again for your reply.

  7. Been a while since I've posted one of these!

Hey everyone, could do with a bit of help. Yesterday I decided to re-wire my Jackson bass with a 3 way mini toggle on each of the EMG 35HZ pickups so that I had series/parallel/split options. Found a diagram online and after doing a bit of research found that EMG use the same colour coding as Dimarzio for their passive HZ pickups but when I wired them up, the bridge pickup worked as it should & the neck pickup just didn't work.

I wired both pickups in the exact same way so I don't know if I've made a simple mistake or if I've really balls'd it up!

This is the diagram I used:

    image.png.d80697a23b9ff8fadce3dd91c9af1fdf.png

As said, the bridge pickup works fine and the switch works fine for that one (the output is a bit low but that could be down to my dead strings) but the neck pickup doesn't work. There's a very faint signal from the neck pickup so I know the pickup and wires aren't dead, I've obviously just made a mistake somewhere. The switch is passing signal too so it's not a broken/faulty switch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially as I have a gig on Friday and would like to use the bass but if not, I'll use my 5 string.

  8. Here for sale is my TC Electronic Thunderstorm Flanger. Bought it to do one sound, it did it, i tried another sound, it did that too. I had fun and can look back on that day with fondness.

Thinning out my effects collection to pay for a new head and cab.

In very good condition. No original box.

£35, £5 postage. PayPal or bank transfer OR cash on collection from Bedfordshire.

  9. Aphex Bass Xciter DI pedal for sale

Have used this quite a lot and it's a great pedal but im thinning my collection right down (and I have the original rack version in my home rig) so this is one to go.

I had a tech replace the power jack with a different socket (still uses regular pedal power supplies) as I found that knocking the metal casing of the power cable against the metal casing of the pedal when inserting the cable caused it to short out my PSU. Since this mod was done, I've not had a single issue.

Everything works as it should and barring the odd nick to the corners, the pedals in really good condition. Velcro (hook side) on the underside.

    £50. £5 P&P via Royal Mail 1st Class.

Paypal or bank transfer, cash on collection welcome!

    IMG_6039.thumb.jpeg.95e6226ce48e56890626706320e3d521.jpegIMG_6038.thumb.jpeg.675aabce2fe7efaa669e7526613542bc.jpegIMG_6037.thumb.jpeg.217d85555673b78f53ed38ae825ee6f6.jpeg

  10. Not using a big pedalboard any more so time to go.

I've fit loads of those cable tie things to the underside and just put on new velcro (loop side) on the rails for the new owner.

It's been well used but its in good nick, does what it needs to do. Also has one of those power supply mounting brackets fitted to the underside. I had an MXR ISO Brick held in with it but others will fit too.

£50. Can probably get it couriered for £5 so call it £55 all in.

Paypal or bank transfer. Cash on collection also welcome.

  11. EMG 40J Pickup

Ideally I'd prefer to do a straight trade for an EMG 40P5 but like all EMG stuff recently, they seem sparse!

Nothing wrong with this pickup or the sound of it, I just prefer the sound of a P pickup in the front position of my basses. I have it paired with a 40J-R (coil in "north" position of casing) and it sounds fantastic.

I'd consider a trade for a 40CS as it sounded very similar to a P pickup when I had one in another bass but I'm happy to hold out for a 40P5

Sale price £50 plus postage, no wires included, just the pickup which is why I'd prefer a trade.

    Thanks

  12. Considering I own 3 of these and have sold everything else off, I'd say it's the old Tobias Toby Pro basses!

Had my #1 (left) since my 18th birthday, done many gigs and upgrades on it and love it so much so that I bought another 4 string (right, converted to a fretless), a 5 string for use in my band and the acoustic (not pictured Toby Pro-4CE) to complete the family.

I switch between which pickups I prefer but all 3 basses have Hipshot tuners, a Badass bridge & an EMG preamp

  13. For sale: Seymour Duncan SMB-5D ceramic 5 string MusicMan style pickup

I planned on revamping a cheap OLP 5 string bass with this and the Jazz bass pickup I have for sale in another advert but ultimately never got round to it as I've thinned my bass collection down due to stepping back from gigging for a while. Excellent condition with plenty of cable left on it and works perfectly.

£50. No offers as i'm already selling at a loss and in no rush to sell.

£5 first class tracked postage, PayPal or Bank transfer payment.

    Buyer to cover Paypal fees.

  15. Got this a few months ago but have no use for it so think I'll sell it and recoup the money from some recent purchases!

Works fine, looks fine, hasn't been used much and I think I have the box for it although I'm not 100% sure.
