The sound from the neck pickup on a Jazz 'resembles' a P pickup but I find the P generally has more lower mids and because you can adjust the height of the two parts independently , you can get a fuller more even sound.

So glad it arrived safe and sound. I had a hipshot d-tuner on it! The reason it took so long for me to sell was I was waiting for a d-tuner for my American P-bass. I always try and take the Hipshots off and keep them because I know I will eventually get another bass that it fits.
Anyway, it's a great bass - in some ways better than the American twin that has replaced it (neck is slightly thinner). Hope you enjoy it.

Those are great basses for hard rock and overdrive pedals. Must be the pickups.
I've gone even more hard rock by putting Seymour Duncan Quarterpounders in it. 🤘

£700. It's in the title.

TC Electronic RH450 class D amp
Fully functional but with a few scrapes. Knobs have been replaced.
These are great amps with three memory presets, semi-parametric 4-band EQ, Spectracomp and Tubetone.
Only selling because I've replaced this with an RH750.
Trades considered for a modern 4x10 cab (especially Markbass, Barefaced).

Any idea of the weight of this?

Nice! I need one for my jazz, where did you get it?
I always get them from Bass direct. Always need to order them in from the US so takes a few months to get them.

I have one.
please don’t mention the “six string” thing unless the word following it is “bass”; Amazon have got fresh stocks of tar and feathers in now 😛I don't consider anything with more than 4 strings to be a "bass". Just unnecessary complication....

Compared to many gearheads, my collection is small at just 8 basses. However I have limited space and am constantly having to move cases/bags out of the way. I need to sell 4 basses and probably a couple of 6-string guitars and some amps too.

I have come to realise I have way too many basses. I pretty much only use my two black Fender P-basses now.
There are two that I will never sell - my Washburn Status that has been with me since I was 17 and my Overwater P-bass that was built to my specs.
I think everything else bar one of the Fenders will have to go through this year. 😱

Wow. Proper bit of history. Some of my favourite players used Alembic - Jason Newsread and John Entwhistle spring to mind.

There was a lefty Hohner B2a on eBay recently.

Interesting.
I now have three 2021 P basses - a Player, a Player Plus and an American pro 2. All three have different necks.
The Pro 2 is noticeably chunkier. Haven't decided what I like best TBH.

Thanks to @Graham A I now have a trio of Fender Precisions (top to bottom):
2021 Fender Player Plus
2021 Fender American Professional II
2021 Fender Player with Hi-mass bridge and Hipshot tuners
Would quite like one of the Japanese PB-62 reissues and a Fender or Squier 32" scale for the collection at some stage.

Put some new Rotosound Swing Bass strings on and gigged this at the weekend. Looks fantastic and plays nice but I really don't get on with the active EQ.
Still for sale.

Still here. Doing nothing. Hasn't been touched since I took the photos back in May. Open to offers and trades.

Barefaced Super Twin 2x12
4 ohm, 1200 watts
Lightweight with built in wheels
Padded cover (Roqsolid not Barefaced)
In excellent condition, selling because I tend to use my Two10 cab more.
Beat the wait and save significantly on the new price.
Collection or I could deliver within 100miles (roughly Carlisle or Newcastle) for fuel money.

This is in the wrong section. It's not a left handed bass.

Interested in a PX? Barefaced cab or a bass?

It plays great. It sounds great. But the active EQ is not for me and it has no tone control in passive mode. I also have a couple of other PJ options that get more use (Aerodyne Jazz and Overwater).
I'm actually now thinking of changing out the EQ preamp for something else rather than sell this (as no-one seems interested).
