Dropped to €1800 / £1540 shipped to your door in Europe. Every time i'm playing this bass, i do think parting with it is a mistake... it really an amazing bass.

Thank you, it has a A neck indeed, 1.5" width at the nut. It's the same width as a jazz bass but feels thicker to me.

As a side-note, when he did the refret work, my luthier insisted how smooth and greasy the fingerboard rosewood is. He's not 100% sure, but it could be brazilian one.

Up for sale is my 1971 Fender Precision Bass. It's a nice example of these A neck Pbass, in full-original condition, except a refret. My luthier did a great job, not much wood has been removed from the veneer fingerboard, allowing further refret with this stunning piece of rosewood - frets are still seating on the fingerboard, not on the maple. The original nut is included, if you'd prefer removing the new bone nut and having this one (plus a shim) on the neck.

It's in pretty good condition, the red from the sunburst shaded on the front of the body and remained under the (original) ashtray which was probably on the bass for decades. Neck's straight, action is low (2mm or so under the strings on 12th fret), no fretbuzz, no shim. Pretty resonant body, quite light bass too: 3,9kg (without ashtray). Trussrod nut looks corroded but the trussrod has not much effort to do. It got plenty of life's left, neck is pretty stiff.

As for tone it's without a doubt one of the very best P i've ever heard. Labella flats (760-FL) are just great with this bass. Instant Motown-vibe but lots of clarity too with open tone pot. Tone-wise it got 'that' sound, with low-mids in spades. It really is an amazing one.

It comes with a (non-original) G&G-like case, nut and ashtray from 1971, non-original pickup cover, £2990 / 3500€ without shipping (i guess it's around the 80€ mark in Europe).

Will post some detailed guts pics later (neck stamp, pots and pickup). Everything is from 1971.

Thank you, build quality is stellar too ! They managed to keep the long head design and make it stronger (different headstock angle due to string tree and thicker neck behind the nut) & more balanced at the same time (thicker mahogany body and lighter tuning keys). 

Selling my Kaminari Yardbird, which is a - now discontinued - Thunderbird non-reverse 1965-69 replica, handmade in Japan by Kaminari Guitars super-skilled luthiers. These are built with finest materials and craftmanship. Not easy to find, even in Japan.

Mine's somehow a special one as it's the #13 Yardbird which was used to release the model (see pic), in the early 2010s. It got the hand-painted Kaminari logo & pin stripes which make everyone of them unique - i just dig the stripes, but if you don't like them, it's super easy to wipe them off, they're not lacquered. Bass is in quite good condition, both esthetically and functionally. Some buckle marks on the back of the body.

Neck's stiff and straight, trussrod has lots of life's left - didn't tighten the nut in the last 6 years or so, neck's pretty stable. Frets are used but not abused, with nice low-action, tuning keys and bridge work flawlessly, Lollar pickups and electronics too. They're dead-silent with huge output and tone is immense. Kaminari just nailed it, they're sounding like vintage Non-reverse Tbirds, like not any other replica does, period. Please listen to 'Thunderbird bass Heesey' on Youtube, it's a vintage Tbird / Yardbird comparison... They nailed it, isn't it ?

It comes with OG gig-bag, cover, allen keys, wooden thumbrest, nothing's missing.

I'm selling this fully-loaded 80s JJ Moon walnut body. It's in good shape, neck pickup needs being rewound. Vol/vol/tone passive electronics, with a pickup selector and parallel/series push-pull. Pickups are coveted vintage Schecter MonsterTone. Super nice Moon bridge with brass saddles. 

Comes with gold hardware, with a nice patina: complete Moon tuning keys and bushings, string retainer and as a bonus an old 38mm jazz bass neck brass nut. 

Neck-heel and fixing holes fit standard vintage Fender necks, nice and tight.

For your consideration this lovely 1974-75 Pbass, ash-maple, original black over sunburst body. It's in good shape and is quite a light pbass for this era: 8.9lbs / 4kg. Parchment pickguard is a repro (original one is included, being broken on jack's tip, see pic), pots and cap are replacement too. Everything else is original. Neck's stamp is from 1974, grey bottom pickups too, but back-plate number looks like bass was finished in 1975.

Neck is super straight, (original) frets used but not abused, with a nice low action, 2mm above 12th fret without fretbuzz anywhere on the neck (no shim). 1 5/8" nut width, B shaped neck. The bass is strung with 45-105 rounds (d'Addario), trussrod has lots of room left. Warm, meaty and midrange punchy tone for days. It sounds ace and is super comfy to play.

Comes with a period-correct black guard, the OG pickguard, cover, thumbrest and ashtray. Flight-case is a (vintage) G&G like case, but not a fender one.

Absolutely, they're built exclusively for domestic Japanese market and are every bit as good as US-made ones. I do think it's a bargain indeed.
