1. Bought this bass recently from E@AY! Hasn't arrived yet! Bought as a Precision type project, It has the tall vintage styled tuning pegs and a single pickup! I have an old set of Dimazio Precision type pickups from an old Ibanez with a tortishell pickguard which i was going to use! Any help or info on this bass would be great, Nothing has popped up whilst searching the Net! Will add better pics when i recieve the bass. Pic taken from add. Cheers Justin.
2. Hi, I am in a Trio! called The BLACK J's. Got together with a drummer and guitarist back in December. We maily play our own material and have had a few recordings at MADDOG STUDIO'S in North Wales. Recorded a few live takes in rehersal which can be listened to on our Myspace site! Our style can be described as a Dark Driven Blues / Rock & Grunge sound! We cant realy sing but we have a bash as it gives a real dirty sound! Got our first gig this thursday night at the Tivoli in Buckley (North Wales). Click on Black J's on my signature for a link to Myspace site! Cheers Justin.
3. Cheers Lads! Thanks for the advice Benwhiteuk, If i decide to sell up i will let you know (Starvolt)! Justin.
4. Looking for a little help here guys? I currently use the BOSS GT6-B Multi Effects unit which is as new and has its original box/manual etc! Thinking of trading it for single units as i tend to use the same old functions = CHORUS REVERB OVERDRIVE / FUZZ / DISTORTION! I have compression built into my rig with footswitch? Trades or advice welcome, My Rack tuner has packed in so anything considered! Basses, Effects, Rack Tuners ETC ETC !!!! Cheers Justin.

9. Sorted, Just bought a 500w Aluminium coned Behringer 2x10 (BA210) = £109 delivered to the door next day! Hopefully it will handle my HA5000 head on its own when in practice & STACK WHEN LIVE? This is the sort of money i had at the time and if it fry's then i will re-load the cab! Thanks for all your help especially Paul! Happy new year! Justin.
10.
I would agree that the TP cab might not handle enough power. I have tried the TP and XL 4x10s and the TP flakes out sooner.
Many thanks, Handy to know. Cheers Justin.
11. Some interesting comments lads! I must admit i have thought about the 2x10 Transporter cab only being 150w (8ohm) Not sure weather i need to be looking at a higher spec cab, Although the whole rig wont be Hartke then? On a Budget the new Behringer Ultrabass 600w 2x10 retails around £133? I have also got to consider using the 2x10 on its own with the HA5000 head for rehersals etc! Needs to handle the power! Any other thoughts on this? Thanks for all your input so far. Justin.
12. This one realy is Mint! I sold the same bass on here last week! Have a bump on me DAD!! Justin.

14. I am using a Hartke HA5000 head, I was looking for a 210 cab to go with my rig and split the high & lows etc! This would also be handy for transporting to rehersals! I have found a 300W powered 210 cab (230W as it is) 300W when using an extension cab! Could i still power both cabs from the Hartke in Bi-Amp mode, Any Help would be great!! Justin.
15. Cracking Head! Still using the HA5000. Have a bump on me Jase, Cheers Justin.
16.
Get the Transporter 2x10 and use the biamp facility.
Cheers Chris!

18. Hope you all had a good crimbo, I am looking to purchase an additional cab to link into my existing Hartke HA500 Head & TRANSPORTER 4X10 CAB. I would prefer a small 2x10 cab that I could use for practice sessions, and then stack with existing 4x10 when live. The head is 250 w per side into 4 ohms/175 into 8 ohms and can be bridged. The amp also has a built in crossover /high and low outputs for biamping. The 4x10 transporter is rated: 300w into 8 ohms Any suggestions please! Pref Under £150 Regards Justin.

22.
+1 to both the above solutions (+2 then?) I use matches, i heard something about the cooks matches being the most suitable because of the wood or something, not sure how true that is though... In my youth i used Milliput, but suppose any decent filler would be a more permanent solution
Cooks matches are great as they are much larger and you would probabilly only need one!
