  1. Hi guys (Hope your all well)

I have a EHX Memory man with Hazarai for sale. I bought it about six months ago from here & have barely used it. It's a great pedal with lots of cool tricks but it's just surplus to requirements.

What I'm asking for it price wise is exactly what I paid for it, Since I got it it's literally been used three times & kept in it's original box.

All good stuff here guys I'm asking £100 delivered to the UK (sent recorded delivery).

    The specs
30 second stereo looper with continuous overdubbing, reverse, speed adjust and tempo only adjust
Up to 3 seconds of stereo echo with adjustable reverberant washes
Up to 3 seconds of stereo multi-tap delay with adjustable number of taps and taps amplitude envelope
Up to 300 mS stereo echo with modulation
Up to 3 seconds of intelligent reverse echo
Adjustable lowpass or highpass filter available in every mode
Ping pong delay when used as mono in to stereo out
    True stereo outputs
Tap tempo footswitch for setting the delay time in every mode
8 user presets to save and recall
    Tough and compact die-cast chassis

For some reason my work PC wont let me upload pictures to BC so here is a internet pic (If someone wants actual pics I can email them direct if needed)

    Cheers for reading my ad.

  2. My first bass was so poor it didn't even have a manufacturers logo on it.
A bright red fender shaped lump of wood that made pallet wood wince with pity

The action was so high you needed to take a short bus ride to get to the fret board, it went out of tune if someone sneezed in Nairobi & had the worst tone I've ever heard. It cost me £90 & I bought it on a whim. My first band was a metal band & I used to have to tune it in the middle of a song.

I simply cannot express in words how much enmity I had for this piece of crap.....I gave it to a lad who wanted to respray it as an ornament

Played at The Olde Highwayman in Pontefract one time. Was a pub in the middle of a run so kept filling and emptying. Eventually only 2 people left. The guy gets up and I jokingly told him he couldn't leave, he replied that he was just off to the loo. A few mins later, he emerges whereupon his partner jumps up, grabs their coats and they both exited at top speed. I asked the barman what he wanted us to do, he says finish if you like so ended up back home by about 10 paid in full. Needless to say, didn't bother trying to get another date.

Yeh I remember that place when it was called "The Bluebell" the pub around the corner "ABA" was a really bad one (Even by Ponte standards)

Made me laugh Fumps - played South Emsall too.....not ace. Done the Wakey Ponte Cas circuit too. Some interesting experiences but mostly ace! Some good people out there

Yeh I'm from Ponte carlo originally it's a funny place to grow up. South Emsall is just precious. Hemsworth is a top place too lol

  5. I played a local gig in a pub called the "The Little un" it was a tiny pub with a meaty reputation. We had done a few gigs in a pub just over the road & decided to accept this one as a last minute thing. The stage was tiny & some of the local inbreeds were more impressed that we had the bottle to actually do a gig there. It was all going really well we had a few people dancing and then "Bam" a bloke who was dancing in front of me got headbutted & I got blood in both my eyes.......

After doing the local gigs in the Pontefract, Castleford, Wakefield area it was hard to shock me after that.

Years later I did a lets say unlicensed DJ gig at a News years eve party in a disused church close to Leeds university. When I was on the decks I looked over to see two ladies & a young gentleman engaged in a game of hide the sausage.......In full view of well everyone. It was a good night though.

  6. I was in a Metallica cover band back in the day all good fun I loved their music & loved the Load/Re-Load stuff even more.

I just think they lost their way & are now more scared of the Metallica legend that they have become. at one time they were probably the biggest metal band in the world, then they made the worst mistake any band can make.....they became self aware & have never found that same energy that they used to make them who they were.

When I watched "Some kind of monster" I felt a little sad for them, it was like a soap opera type film of a band who used to be great.

Anyway back on subject: Lars has always had verbal sh*te-o-matica. His interviews should always be taken with a truck full of salt

Apparently Trent hates the fact that 'Closer', a song about extreme self hatred is now a 'titty bar' anthem :)

It's a belting song either way, He should be aware of the seductive tunes he writes.

I've heard some of the new album & i'm very impressed with what I've heard so far. I'm an old fan of NIN & Everything that Trent does.....I still love Perfect Drug, it's one of my all time favorite tunes

Personally I'd use a tiny amount of clear silicone mastic. It should fix pretty well, but can be removed (carefully) with a razor blade if the need arises

If you want permanent then epoxy resin, clamped - as others have mentioned wood glue is no good unless both surfaces are bare unfinished wood
    [/quote]
Sorry mate thats wrong, as long as you select the correct wood adhesive & you have one porous surface it will work just as well as any adhesive & will offer better flucturial strength & thermal expansion capabilites than most adhesives. Epoxies dont flex that well & dont handle vibration, this is why they crack & lose strength.

Silicone I'd be very careful of the extender oils & filling agents found in most silicone sealants can leech causing unsightly oily shawdowing effects. Stay well away from Mastic as thats an oil & sand mix.

A proper bash would be good. Look after yourself first though. I met TomDuff this afternoon, though it was very busy and the chances of bumping into people I didn't know would have been very slight. Hope to meet you at some point Gav

    Get well

    Hey Fumps

Absolutely no need to apologise. I hope that you get sorted with whatever is you're going through. look after yourself mate.

Thanks mate, its not like me to forget stuff like this. My mind was just elsewhere. I will be cool & reorganise a proper bash either later this year or early next.

  11. Hi guys
I owe you all an apology. Over the last month or so I've been really ill & with all the coming and going I have totally forgotten about this.

My head has been on meeting appointments & panicking about test results & all the sh*t that goes with all that stuff.

All I can say is that I'm sorry for being crap. I'm feeling pretty rough anyway but feel pretty bad about forgetting this.

Mind is elsewhere & I fumbled the ball on this one guys.
