I am aware that Jaco had no pickguard, but he also didn't use the pickup or bridge covers so why include those. I'm just being fussy. :)

  2.
I still can't believe the tone in that recording! And, the more I listen to it, the more I have to reiterate that it is a wonderful jazz recording. Bravo!

I have a question about the dampers, how and why do you use them? I haven't seen those on any bass before.
Thanks very much! I didn't use the mutes too much to be honest, they were on the bass already when I got it and I couldn't find a situation where I needed them really. This is the website where they come from http://www.bassmute.com/bassmute/bm_mainframe.html.

  3. Long shot....but how about this http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=134871, plus some cash my way? :)

What pre-amp are you selling it with? It one photo it is different. Lovely bass.

    It's quite Fodera'ish isn't it :).

    Certainly worth thinking about.
It is yes. There are sound-clips in the thread to.....to tickle your fancy a little more. :)

  5. Does this tickle your fancy at all? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...71&hl=rbass

    This is correct ^^
    (beautiful sound btw)
Oh dear, I didn't notice that I did it wrong. Thanks! :)

  7. Something I recorded the other day. R-Bass x 3.....melody, chords, and bassline. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28624297/Somewhere...20%28AAC%29.m4a

  8.
would you interested for a trade with a Yam TRB6 JPII? or a Marleaux Consat Straight 5?
You asked already, maybe I didn't reply. I'm really after a passive bass I can get a good jazz bass tone out of, these aren't really suitable i'm afraid.
