Firstly, my apologies for putting this here because it might be more suited to the weird and wonderful eBay section. However, I cannot fathom this bass at all, can’t locate a Schecter headless and going by the crown style inlays, Spector is out too. So, what is it?

Guys one question. In my Yamaha BB414, the tuner of the E string is bent (I bought it like that already). It works, but I would like to replace it. Since it must be difficult to find a similar tuner, which tuners are a direct replacement?

Good luck AP.

How much do the neck profiles vary on BB basses?
I seem to remember my old BB414 was closer to a J neck than a P, but are they all like that?
Yep I think they are. My BB714 has a 40mm nut, jazz is 38mm, pbass is 42mm unless is a vintage reissue of sorts, & Billy Sheehans attitude is a baseball bat at 45mm at the nut.

I have a Euro 4 LT P/J but I do fancy one of these:

Maybe worth trying a new set of strings, I always find RotoSound RS66 give me the power and tone I require.

I could be wrong but I think these were made in Taiwan. Brilliant Basses though, I had a SFG one amongst a few LTD 2/3's I've owned.
Taiwan is/was their custom shop where a very limited run of Ltd 1s came from 👍

Real workhorses those basses and given you won't get a Ltd for any less than £3k these days, yours is great value for money!
Edit: Made in Japan too if memory serves

Waiting for some warmer weather and it'll be project finishing central.
I am so looking forward to seeing this complete given I saw the original.

I'd be interested in the comparison to see how much of an upgrade the P34 might be to my 734a, obviously in passive mode.
How’s the BS hollow bass coming on?

In my view, the best 5 string out there and the one that set the standard!! I so miss my TRB 5
Best of luck mate,

It's actually a pretty decent budget head. The claimed output is a bit of a fairy story, but it works well, especially for the money. Used to have one as a backup amp and it did the job very competently.
I totally adore my BV1001T and it is all you say and more The 'Chinese pap' thing is an olde joke from a previous thread between AgedHorse and I regarding Hartke.

Cosmetic copy, features copy, intended to look like a Streamliner but an entirely different circuit.
Chinese pap? lol 😂

I have an older GenzBenz Steamliner that has a three tube pre. It certainly warms and thickens the Class D back end. I sent it off to California when I heard agedhorse was still doing service work on them so it’s like a brand new amp today.
Sometimes you see Streamliners go for very reasonable money.
I'm sure the Bugera BV1001T is a copy of the Streamliner, @agedhorse will definitely know

For fun, try out the Bugera Veyron BV1001T, 3 x valve pre and digital out. Rated at 2000w but really around 600w. They are amazing and super cheap.

I had one of those for a while. (Not in the 80s, mind.)
I did too and was early, very early 80s. ☺️

Superb! I remember the early 80s through neck Satellite basses that were identical to this, stunners!
Real piece of nostalgia there 🙏❤️

Absolutely superb basses! I bought a violet fade LT - same combo as yours - from Geoffio last year and I am utterly blown away by how good these Spector basses are. If I recall correctly, they weigh in at 3.9kgs and do include the internal trim pot.
Good luck although you shouldn't need to as that bass will sell itself!
