1.
Is this a modern radius board if you have the American Standard neck?
Sorry mate, I haven't a clue, all I know is that I had a 2009 /2010 standard p bass and loved the neck so I asked this to be the same
 2. Hey I forgot to respond .... it blew me away !!!!
 3.
Is this a J width nut (1.5") - not easy to tell from the images?
Hi No I don't think so, I asked for an American standard p bass neck, although not that wide it's not a jazz neck.
 4. £1999 ! It is with a heavy heart I am putting this up for sale, you are looking at a custom shop relic p bass with ebony fretboard, this is under 2 years old, I had it made with a modern C profile P bass neck profile With a 42mm nut, I also had the back of the neck left smooth as my previous experiences with worn necks made my hands stick, this is an easy player with a great sound and looks great too, it's light enough to feel totally comfortable, still has the strings on it came with so I have no idea what they are. Feel free to ask any questions or to come and look if in the St Albans area. Comes with tweed hard case and all the usual stuff. Collection only please. St Albans / North London or buyer arranges courier + insurance etc.
 5.
The original thread on these ran to a few hundred posts and people falling over each other to get one - it was immediately pre Brexit so they were comparatively good value, but available at that price for a very short time. The stack knob Jazz was changed by Fender originally for a good reason - presumably some people with the Flea Jazz have stumbled across it also (I seem to remember discussion about this when these basses came out) - as well as the flip flippity flip nature of some people on the forum.
Yes seems feasible, I am now interested in trying one myself
 6. Forgive me if I'm wrong but .. I seem to be seeing a lot of flea jazz basses for sale all over the place and they always seem to be not very old or haven't had it long bought second hand.... am I missing something ?
 7. Hi I have the ninja head and 122, I've had them a few weeks but haven't gigged it yet I will let you know after next weekend, fingers crossed I sold a fair few cabs to get this.
 8. A custom shop 62 p bass, ebony fretboard, heavy relic , vintage white, traded at bass direct about 3 years ago, been looking for it ever since... what was I thinking
 9.
Bump for a great bass. I had the privilege of meeting its owner this afternoon, who is a lovely and extremely hospitable guy and trying out this funky instrument.
Well how nice, much appreciated, good to meet a nice chap and great player. "No doubt about it"
 10.
Coming from Sheffield, staying in Cricklewood.
Ok have pmd, we can work something out as not far
 11.
Whereabouts in north London are you? I'm travelling there Thursday to Sunday and would like to check this out if I may.
Hi I am based in St Albans but work out of Enfield North London, where are you travelling from ?
 12.
Just measured it up, sorry it's a tad to big to get them both in. Oggy
No probs mate
 13.
Hello Hamstar8 Can you give me the overall dimensions in cm please, with the cover on. I'm looking for an 8 Ohm 2 x 10 cab to use with my Jeff Berlin Markbass combo - when needed - to get the Max. power out of it. Deciding factor would be the size to see if I can get both the combo and second cab into my car comfortably. Oggy (I'm not a million miles from you - I'm in Borehamwood)
Hello mate This is about 60cm x 47cm x 36cm, if you want to come and have a look please do
 14.
I wonder, if you have smaller hands, whether you're forced to play more on the edge of the finger rather than the pad because of the stretch. You mention that it affects he last two (assume you mean the ring and pinkie). If you are playing on the edges, the skin there is not as tough and it may be that a shorter scale instrument would be the best option in the long run, but I appreciate that's not the cheapest way to go. As far as strings go, agree with suggestions for Cobalts, Elixirs and Pressurewounds. Afraid you may have to spend a bit experimenting. Good luck with it.
That's exactly what happens, cheers
 15.
How long have you been playing, and/or how often do you play? You refer to gigging, so I assume you're not a beginner. Different strings will help, but it sounds like you need to toughen your finger tips up. This only really comes from perseverance BUT the trick is (IMHO) to stop when your fingers start to feel sore (easy when practising, not in a gig), i.e. before they blister or shred.Give it a day and repeat. If you let the skin blister/shred then you're back to square one.
Hi My fingers are pretty tough, I've been gigging for 20 years, I should really play a mustang or something short scale due to the size of my mitts but I dont want to, I just need something smooth but punchy
 16.
Elixirs are roundwound but with the coating they apply they're much less abrasive on the fingers than most strings. They aren't cheap, but they last a lot longer than most strings. I tend to keep them over a year without them going particularly dead. With the skin shredding, is this because of soft skin, of do you have a skin condition? Scott Divine has a skin condition which is the reason for his wearing a glove.
No I have no problem as such, the skin goes hard after gigs but comes off again, not unbearable but I struggle using the wedding finger so use the pinky at a stretch
 17.
Are you looking for flats or rounds, or in-between .?
If there is something in between then yes that's what I want
