Between the likes of squier and Harley benton etc which budget bass is your go to recommendation for a new player, keeping price as low as possible I know it's partly luck of the draw / bit of setup is needed here and there, avoiding the 2nd hand market, just looking at something I can order direct. I had one and returned it, could to set the streamed audio Vs the guitar volume without just turning everything down

I might have a look at the volt, I'm sorta scared by the audio interface route being a little less plug and play but I realise the flexibility is there
