I really like acoustic basses. Isn't it the same with acoustic guitars - they are usually amplified, can suffer from feedback, bulkier than electric guitars...

What's the intonation like?

Probably not a Hofner, but still a nice bass.

I have the same condition. I used to have frequent back and neck pain. I started running and the pain has gone.

Carvin Fretless acoustic bass - four string.

This is a thinline semi-hollowbody bass, so very little volume when unamplified, but it does mean it can get loud without feedback. I guess it's a poor man's Rob Allen, but still a nice bass.[list]

Did you work that out and write it up, or did you find it on the web? Either way, many, many thanks. I've wanted to play that for a long time, but couldn't work out that little riff.
