Just wondering where I could get some unusual scratch plates for my big al (sss) 4, ivr done a bit of searching and have only found --originalscratchplates.com but I'm not really looking for something that's been printed. is it only in the second hand market ? Is there a website that's better then the rest for this?

Ah, didn't know that. They always have "throw away after opening" or something On the packets. So you can't just microwave them...?

I've noticed a very small amount of rust on the pick ups on one of my basses, it's gotten me thinking, what are must know tips in terms of looking after our basses?

I use to do a vintage market in London you wouldn't believe what people would pay for useless junk.

I just stick small amount of gaffer tape behind ears. Never fails though your mileage may vary.....

Hi, I've had this profile for a while but I'm honestly more of a lurker...untill now! I can't remember if I put an introduction up so when prompted by the front page I thought now might be a good time. i live just above London, played in mainly in one band on and off for years, arty post rock ala big black, killing joke type stuff. My main bass for years was a burns bison reissue, however, while working in Europe for 6 months a friend who lost his flat ended up stealing it along with a few effects pedals and an amp head. Everything bar the burns was recovered. I am still quite upset about this. anyway I've mainly come back here to sell some gear, specifically two music man big Als (4) and (5). anyway that's all. Did I do this right?
