AAAAAAAAAAAAAh!

You should edit the first post as you lowered the price.
This finish is really superb.

Try to find an used Genz-Benz 3-0 8" or 10". I own one (and a big expensive amp too, 1512 Schroeder, db359, AG700...) and it's really a magic piece of gear, sounds very nice and a breeze to carry.
Apart from that, various options, but as far as many little heads fits in a gigbag pocket you are not bound to combos.

Nice. The body seems very thick. In my opinion it's quite easy if wanted to make it lighter by thinning it out.

Very nice bass, and man of few words.

Nice piece of wood.

The Classic's pickups are the same physical size as the Stingray, the bridge pickup soloed absolutely nails the classic Stingray tone.
Thanks.

I had a '79 Sabre once and thus it sounded fantastic, the pickups were smaller than those found on Stingrays, and "bridge PU only" did not sound as full as a SR. Are the PU's bigger, same as Stingray's, on these new Sabre models?

Sounds good. No doubt it can cut a mix if it can do a haircut.

yes, indeed a rare bird...
Nut width is 43mm
So it is a bit wider than a Stingray ? (41,3mm, I believe)
-
Yes it seems to be. With bigger frets too I believe. I assume that's why it's called Neo . That will allow a lower string action and more clarity. Definetly an interesting bass.
-
Very nice. FB radius does not look vintage but less rounded, is it?
-
A good compressor fixes that.
-
Gorgeous! Wood combo + barts is killer .
What is the string spacing at the bridge on these? Is it 20mm like the SS1's?
-
So if I get it there is a route for the reverse P Under the PG?
-
QOTSA live, what a disappointment.
showing haircuts, liveless.

Small error I think - there is no way that Nut Width is only 40mm.
Lovely bass though.
You're obviously right and I think the fretboard is ebony rather than phenowood too.

These days I'm giving a try to the NYXL's on my Stingray (maple fb). They sound nice, better than the XL's, but I'd probably return to the Roto RS66LD because they sound thicker and balance the bright character of the instrument. They work well on my PB too. Plus they are cheap.
-
I'd go for the Streamer LX that is in the marketplace section here.

Maybe for £1450 you can make a small effort and find a scale somewhere.
