I have the B-302 which has the 2 pickups

    and they are tone monsters

Sorry to usurp the sale thread a little.. I recently sold a B302 due to rationaliation of the collection... I regret deeply every bass i sell and the Guild was truely heartwrenching. These are great bases, total tone monsters... If i may ask a question..

When i bought my B302, the seller had a B301 that he said he's keeping because he prefered the tone.. I said how so, the bridge pick up on the B302 is in the same place as the B301. He said they are not..

Can you confirm please? Is the single pick up on the 301 in the same spot as the BPU on the 302?

... and if not already mentioned... these pups are killer.. and this is a great price for a rare and special vintage bass that kicks donkey.. GWTS

    Earlier ones were A/B.

    Then they swapped to D.

I don't know when it happened but I've seen a few of both.

If you find Thomas Eich on social media he usually answers questions about his stuff.

    There you go then.. Cheers

  3. just curious. I'm looking to sell my Puma 500 212 combo, and was taking pics and found, on sticker on the back of the amp that it states 'class A/B Poweramp technology'.

It's a made in Germany combo I think whilst Thomas Eich was still at the company..

I always thought (assumed) these were class D and have read reviews as such.

I'm just curious really, but anyone shed any light. Are all Puma's class A/B, were they but became class D??

  4. I bought a Pair of TKS cabs from Enrico.. Payment up front deal, shipped from Italy to Norway.

As soon as the payment was made Enrico bent over backwards to ensure the cabs came as fast and safely as possible. Communication was fantastic, packaging was fantastic and the cabs are fantastic. He even did me a couple of favours along the way.

Deal with utter confidence. Enrico is definitely one of the good guys.

    Thanks so much Enrico

    New cab on its way!!!

Looks killer.. And thanks, never heard of them until now..

Is this a custom order? as there appears to be only 2 bass cabs on offer on the web site. Also what driver are they using?

  6. Ahh.. if you'd take USA a Låkland Jo Osborn with Chi-sonic pick ups.. also in green ... which would be almost pointless.. i'd trade

I have a DeGeir Soulmate in '71 dodge challenger dark tan. This would be a bloody lovely sibling..... gasp

  7. I love my muff.. (said the actress to the bishop)..

Plug n play for me.. Dry switch plenty of sustain and tone.. I get a fat finger style rock tone in the mix.. it thickens things up, meat and potatoes.

I also use an amptweaker Bass tight Fuzz which I am constantly fiddling with

Most fx loops are line level not instrument level and if the pedals not designed for it it can make it sound completely different.

Can you expand on this please? it sounds significant but I don't fully grasp it

Really nice email from Leszek at HB explaining the issues he has at the moment with his covid issue plus he's lost some of his enginners thru Covid. Approx a 6 week wait for the R-400 and WB-100 but he's working on upgrades to the pre-amp at moment too.

He has given me a price and its a fantastic price for such an amazing bit of kit. £20-£30 shipping.

How do they manage to produce such an amazing amp for that kind of money.

I'll be ordering a WB-100 but have said there's no rush and can wait till he's fully recovered and his team back to full strength again. Will proceed as he sees fit under his guidance.

@wateroftyne just thought i'd let you know since you also sent a message for me.

Sounds like things are a bit tough for them at moment but hopefully picks up soon.

    Dave

    Thanks Dave, good to know
