Doctorbass.net sells a lot of Marleaux basses, so they started from 2014 ordering custom Consats to a more affordable price that will not miss any of the essential features. So they do not change the electonics, the pickups, the wood quality, etc..but in order to achieve that affordable price they "strip down" the fancy things such as gold hardware, or a combination of several woods for the body. At the end they achieve a price of about 2500 EUR for a new one.

That one I bought 8 months ago from eubassix (Actually I bought 3 Marleaux's from him so far - he is a great guy, highly recommended seller).
Why I am selling it - I am not a bass player myself - I buy basses for my wife - she has 7 so far...so as you can imagine she plays only one or two and the others stay at the shelf with months :-) So nothing wrong with the bass - it looks like a new one, I can't find any visible damage or ding, the electronics are perfect....it's just that I want to buy a new one now and this one has to go :-)
