1. Hey guys, i've had a think about my pedalboard setup recently and I've decided to get shot of the pedals i'm not using and to free up some funds for more purchases :) More pedals may be added in the next few days

[s]1st up is my aphex punch factory, very good very transparent compressor a few small scuffs on the pedal and velcro attatched to the bottom
    £45 posted[/s] SOLD PENDING PAYMENT

[s]next is my dod fx62 bass stereo chorus, bought this from Ahpook a while back great sounding chorus still has the battery cover on although the rubber bit on the bottom has been removed so i could get the velcro to stick on it, comes boxed in good condition
    £30 posted[/s] SOLD PENDING PAYMENT

[s]Dod fx75 stereo flanger, not specificaly a bass pedal but i found some pretty good sounds with it pretty good nick with battery cover
    £30 posted[/s] NOW SOLD

[s]Next again is a guyatone ps-026 8 band bass eq pedal not much you can say realy other than its in good nick
    £20 posted[/s] NOW SOLD

    [s]
Also for sale now is my BYOC Large beaver big muff clone, Its built to Rams head era specs with a 4 way tone selector to give you std muff tone, flat response, mid boost and the final position takes the tone control out of the way. Tis an awwesome pedal made better by having Martin Owen do a few mods on the pedal for me. Looking for £50 posted for this to BC'ers. photo's Here[/s]NOW SOLD

  2.
It really bugs me how the space I have behind the Whammy is basically unusable ¬_¬
If your gonna have a compressor and if its gonna be on all the time you could pop that at the back of the whammy that way you'll have no switching issues as well it'd be on all the time?

  3. No major changes to my pedalboard but enough to warrant another pic :)

Signal goes bass > tu2 > cream pie > polish love > blue beaver (rams head era big muff clone with some mods) > EQ > chorus > punch factory > sansamp PDDI

there ya go, I'm thinking of taking ether the blue beaver or ploish love off the board cause 3 gain pedals is a bit over the top lol and i no longer need the eq as my old sansamp BDDI has been replaced, I have an old Dod fx75 flanger that i got from ebay for £1.38 that i may pop on the board and I'm thinking of either a boss ls-2 and or a feedback loop of sorts

  4.
id personally go for the order youv just wrote them in, inline, but it all depends on what you prefer, just experiment
+1 although i'd put the aphex xciter after the compressor :)

aint nothing wrong with messing around with setups till you find the one you like best

  5.
With one of these you can get any sound that you want! (even a wal sound!) :)

I played a a Wal bass for the first time this afternoon at a local jam session pretty much the spitting image of that one but it had 21 frets IIRC, lovely sounding bass and played like a dream except the strap was a bit high for my tastes  playing one has finally given me some serious Wal GAS a good few years after i missed out on one in my local crack converters for £600

  6.
pablo - so did you just sand the box then 3 coats of colour? I was looking at dsanding, primer, colour, clear, but it all seems such a ballache to me. Plus I'm not after a really pro job.

Not to say yours doesn't look pro!! it looks sweet :)
I used wire wool and white spirits on the casing to clean of any gunk/oil on the casing let it dry and yeh gave it 3 coats of the paint giving each about an hour or so to dry inbetween coats. i was gonna use black primer for a realy deep blue but the way the pirst coat came out i was happy enough with how the colour came out

  7.
very impressive !

i can't stand the super-bright leds though...i'm too much of a cave-dweller for the bright lights
It is a little on the bright side but when its on and if your not looming over your pedalboard then the sustain knob hides the worst of it :)

  8.
looks like a tidy bit of work...top stuff !
+1

I got one of the 'Large Beaver' big muff kits from vibeotronics a few months back and built it to rams head era specs and did a fairly good job of building it to find i'd got the pots all messed up and the LED was put in the wrong way  so i sent it off to Martin Owen (of owen electronics fame) and he did a cracking job of sorting out the pot and LED (put in a bright blue one instead of the red one in the kit) and also modded it to better suit my needs. I used plasticote metalic blue spray paint for the finish, just cleaned up the casing and gave it 3 coats and bingo a nice even blue finish IMO

all the nice tidy wiring is Martins work not mine as mine looked abit like spaghetti junction :) He's well worth a shout for any pedal mods.
