Thanks Bokkie! I think they are: 'made in Germany' it says. The bass is 100% original and this is what Alembic used back then. Maybe they still do on their models, I don't know actually. Ido know I am the first owner and never changed a thing!

Alembic Spoiler from 1989.

Some specs: birds-eye maple top, mahogany body, 3 piece maple neck(through) with ebony board including OHSC. 32 inch, 2 truss rods, AXY pickups, Volume/Tone/Pickup selector, Alembic low pass filter with Q-switch, chrome Alembic GOTOH tuners, Brass bridge, just below 4kgs on my kitchen scale etc. This Spoiler has that unique Alembic sound: bright, full and dynamic, with a sweet flavour that comes with the years. I am the first owner (!) and chose this one over 3 other Alembics in the shop at the time and I played this bass from 1989 till about 1995. From then on it rested in it's case. It has been played but considering a 31 years old instrument it is in very, very good condition. Technically 100%.

Something wrong with the A string tuner?

The board is maple too? I think I’ve never seen other than ebony on a USA Smith.

It is a very great bass really. This very early 1 trussrod I like even a bit more than the also great 2 rod version from the early nineties. I also have a Fodera AJ6... 2 x 6 strings is 1 too many...so one has to go... can you imagine that this relatively cheap TRB6P can compete with the AJ6? It can. It is a bit of a different beast but I won't say the TRB6P is a lesser bass...

A steal for a neckthrough bass that is as good as the famous high end basses that cost 5 times as much. 

Fantastic neck through top of the line TRB6P(iezo): the first 6 string ever built by Yamaha. This one is from the first series with a single trussrod and (single coil!) pickups more or less 'in '70's position'.

Also has the quite unique blendable piezo's in the bridge creating a sound that is very clean and bright, a bit like an extended acoustic guitar. 

Great bass. Great seller.

Great Fender Jazzbass 1973 with OHSC. Apart from the bridge pickup being replaced with a same but ‘75 grey bottom at some time it is 100% original. Very comfortable player,  light, good balance, slim neck and low action. Nice growly fat Jazzbass sound. These early 70's Fenders have something different going on. And oh yes, the bass has some love signs but all works fine, including the trussrod.

It's a tube with thread inside indeed. However... I would expect to find something like that online and I didn't.

It’s the light grey metal tool in the middle. A very simple tool that doesn’t seem to be created for Fodera exclusively but I can’t find it anywhere.

Somehow my trussrod puller got lost and now I can’t seem to find any shop that sslls these. Fodera has them in a toolkit for $30 but shipping costs another $55 which doesn’t fit in my head: transportation almost twice as expensive as the toolkit... so... looking for a place in Europe to buy one... any suggestion is appreciated!

Selling this fantastic clean and 100% original '72. maple board bass. Early '70 Fender basses are the lightest in this decennium and so is this one: approx. 3700 grams on my kitchenscale. A-neck(!), original ashtrays and thumbrest and OHSC. Frets, truss rod, electronics wtc. Everything is perfect. Plays like butter sounds fenomenal.

Have to kill darlings and hardly play four strings so this one has got to go.
