  1. Got a fretless bass off Graham great communications fast delivery and some absolutely epic packaging. I would have no hesitation recommending hom to other bass chatters..
  2. Hi I brought the Black fretted Mini J&D off Aidan63 .. its a great little bass the original pick ups were a bit unremarkable but I popped in a couple of second had Wilkinsons J pick ups and it sounds and plays remarkably well.
  3. I brought a mini jazz bass from Aidan super easy transaction.. he was quick to post. Super well packaged .all good no hesitation in recommending him
  4. I understand the strings do seem slightly off set. This is easily corrected. The bridge is a floating bridge and moves when the strings are loosened .. it is meant to do this.. I loosened the strings when I had the bass stored !! I should have check this out before I took the photo check this out it will explain this better than me !! http://chownybass.com/how-to-quickly-set-up-your-chowny-chb-1/
  5. Hi Tom using the slightly dodgy bathroom scales I think it’s around 4.5kg that’s an estimate as very time I weighed it is changed slightly. But it’s definitely not a super light bass
  6. Ok.. not problem .. let me know if you have second thoughts. 🙄
  7. Not really looking for any trades of other effects.. but I might be interested in a short scale bass like a gretsch junior jet or I am on the look out for a lined fretless jazz ...
  8. I am having a clear out of stuff I don't use. I like this filter and have had some fun with it but it just doesn't get much of an outing these days.. In full working order, it has the obligatory velcro on the back which i will happily remove and These are now discontinued and don't seem to come up for sale very often. It comes with the original box. Price includes postage
  9. Another Bass that is not getting played. I really like bass great sound just google it there area plenty of reviews out there. I got it to try out the Jazz sound and I liked it but I just did't get on with it as a full scale and now I have a medium scale Jazz which sees all the playing action now. I am based in North Derbsyhire / Manchester. I would prefer pick up or meet up - but contact me to discuss postage . Cash would be better but may consider trade or part trade for a cheap Short scale like a Gretsch Junior Jet or a lined fretless. 10. I have not played this guitar for a while and can't justify keeping it. I have used this for a few low key gigs and even did some recording with it. I had loads of complements about it .. the looks and the sound I had Labella flats on for a good while which sounded great but more recently it has been re strung with Rotosound Steel round wounds which give it a totally different sound. I am based in North Derbyshire /Manchester I would prefer a pick / meet up. I looked in the couriering the bass it will be around £20.. in fact its packed and ready to go Here's the spec Semi hollow maple body with flamed maple top Maple neck with Indian ebony fingerboard and 22 frets Short scale-length for easier playability Specifications Body Back: Maple Top: Flamed Maple Construction: Semi-Hollow Shape: Double Cutaway Colour: Purple Burst Binding: 5-layer binding Neck Wood: Maple Fingerboard: Indian Ebony Inlays: Pearloid Number of Frets: 22 Nut: Synthetic Bone Here's the spec Semi hollow maple body with flamed maple top Maple neck with Indian ebony fingerboard and 22 frets Short scale-length for easier playability Dual Artec Humbuckers with 3-way selector and dual vol/tone controls Ebony floating-style bridge and 5-ply binding for vintage-inspired aesthetic
