Yes, it is very useful as a sort of jack-of-all-trades 'command centre'. I had my compressor in the always on loop and then various other pedals in the switchable loop. For me, the best thing about it is the quality of the tones out of it. I've never put it straight through a power amp but it defiantly added something special. If they did a smaller version with the same transformer and EQ I'd be seriously tempted.

Thanks guys, my other two G&Ls are black and vintage white but I think sonic blue has to be my favourite colour (although if I was keeping it I think I'd get a mint pickguard)
