1. Hey everyone, Time to move this amazing bass on, its one of the most versatile and option filled basses I've played. Its been mine since new and used in gigs and recording. Never had any issues finding my sounds with this. And it was ideal for my hands. Specs are as follows:

Bolt-on neck
34" scale
Maple Neck
Ebony fingerboard
Swamp ash body
Standard 45mm nut
Dot inlays
21 XJ frets
Chrome hardware
ESP-LTD Vintage tuners
Wilkinson licensed WBBC-5 bridge
EMG MMTW-5 pickup on the bridge
40P5 active pickup at neck
Volume, Balance controls
3-band EQ
A few notes on this. The first is the low B tuner has had the shaft replaced after a knock. no impact on the basses playability however the peg is now a tad bigger than it should be so in a straight line the B and E pegs overlap by about 1mm. Its never been an issue for me though since its rare that ever happens. Second is a small crack in the paint at the 2 lower knobs, again never an issue and seems to be common with this bass. and finally the usual wear, a couple of scratches on the back but nothing to hinder anyones playing. Its a big bass, I loved that though since it was better in my hands but it may not be for the smaller people. Looking for £280 posted or £250 collected from Glasgow. Feel free to ask any questions Pictures are
 2. Hey guys, sorry I've been all over and missed the PM's. Seems Im not being notified of them and not used to this new layout. Anyway, back up fr 250 with trade options.
 3. Hey everyone, Sadly I need to let this go, just not using it right now and focused on work which needs a 5 string. It was Collected from Veils from this very forum. Its a white/cream colour MIM Jazz, black pick guard, rosewood fretboard. very nice bass to play with no major issues. It has a small chip of paint about the size of a 5p coin above the neck which shows the underlying wood. after that it only has the odd minor scratch that I would expect to see on any bass. it also needs a good setup. it has a few dinks on the neck, nothing that affects the playing of the bass, just that standard thing as if its been rested against something. But its a good bass and plays very well. It been fitted with Wilkinson Pickups and sounds great, and I still have the originals to go with it. Looking for £250 including a nice padded gig bag. ideally collected from Glasgow cause I hate posting basses, but we can see. Would also consider a trade for a Epiphone TBird - 5 strings are better! Photos can be found on http://gallery.me.com/gordonandheather Please note, I'm not a photographer, did my best though so be gentle G

 5. Bump! 100 quid including the postage now, need this shifted as the mac is getting a bit too... yea!
 6. Hey Everyone, Got this as part of a trade from this forum last weekend, however sadly my mac is on the verge of dying while I'm in the middle of a large film project - so need to start getting funds. You can get all the details from http://www.audereaudio.com/JZ3.htm The thing is brand new and never used, only ever taken out the box to inspect it. Its all there including a battery and the guides. £100 Posted! Cheers G
 7. Good topic! I can tell B was done by a guitar player who only liked loud things (no supprise) A and C it comes hard to tell, A is more balanced, nothing sticks out too much so I would say that was the studio C is a little more bass up front, so I suspect a home studio. My comments on C is not based on the "bassist mixed it thus bass is most important" idea, but mainly becuase its a common problem with home recordings and bass frequencys. I think home studios are great, for mixing, when it comes t recording you can't beat a pro studio and a producer/engineer who wants to help. But then i have been to many of these "Pro" studios and heard much much worse than any of those mixes. Good job BTW!
 8. Glad its all sorted. Enjoy making music again
 9. Well you could use PT9 on any system, it just's needs the USB ilok to run so you could track and mix on the same platform happily. Yes all you would need is the cross grade, but do you have an iLok key already? possibly a blue or red shaped key? I have something in my head saying m-powered keeps its licence on the iLok and again wouldn't run without it.
 10. I know you can go from M-Powered to LE, and i THINK you can go back. (never tried that part). However would you need to go back?
 11. Hi Beedster, ProTools M-Powered (and any other version) will require the hardware. In your case the Mackie desk to must be conencted in order for ProTools to run. Even going for a cheap MBox would not work as they only run ProTools LE - Not M-Powered. This is the curse of ProTools and the hardware nightmare. If you have the Mackie desk hooked up and your PC is seeing it ok then it might just need to be uninstalled and reinstalled - otherwise I would assume it was a bad cable or firewire port. If you want to go without the hardware requirements I would HIGHLY recommend moving up to ProTools LE 9. You will gain LOTS of fantastic features including the much needed Delay compensation. And the only hardware requirement is a USB iLok to authorize the software and any plug ins you might have. You can still use the Mackie desk as your main interface but would also have the option to run on any hardware. I use it at home now, HD 8 for tracking in the studio, 9 at home and I can sit on the couch with just my headphones into my laptop for editing and rough mixing. Makes my work flow much easier.
 12.
trade for a G&L L2500 + cash ?
Could be good, PM me some details and lets see
 13. Come on! Don't make me burn this thing in a fire! Would consider a Fender 5 string.
 14. Sorry Mr.Noisy, as good as I'm sure the bass is its not tickling my fancy. But thanks anyway! Another bump
 15. Free bump. I had one of these a few years back and it rocked! One of the few bass bits i regret getting rid of, and if i had the space I would be snapping this right up. G
 16. I think its down to playing style. I prefer something with a bit more of a wrist support. But it is a lovely bass! G
 17. Bumping, got to shift this now, so £550 including postage, and open to trades/offers. I can't play it since it's not good on my wrists, so someone buy it and use it! G
 18. Would you be interested in a Spector 5 string? http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=128193
