    I made series wiring on that MEC pickup a made two outputs, one for piezo and second for magnetic pickups on my acoustic bass than I mix these signals in BOSS LS-2 sounds o.k. will see on stage...thank you again W.

    got it, well bass has very low output, maybe that's because bronze coated strings on (?)...I made parallel wiring red+black to the tip, others to the ground...Is this schematic correct for this pickup? thanks again w.

    Wow, I see you did a lot of research! I bought the same pickup for my acoustic bassguitar, I will place the pickup on the damping rubber in the hole of the soundboard. I need to reduce the bottom part of the pickup where the mounting holes are. Do you have any idea how far the coil winding extends? I assume that the bottom protruding part (I mean the side without the output) is just the base without any components inside...thanks for the help W.

    Hello, I offer great instrument for sale or trade. I'm looking for Mollone JB 5 (+cash from my end if needed). I have been actively using this bass for about 7 years. Alder body, rosewood fingerboard, maple neck, original pickups, JB deluxe bridge, comes with original bridge, including case, cracked varnish inside the lower corner (see picture). This was profesionaly corrected at Guitar Ambulance, does not affect the sound...it is not cracked wood. I will add the weight and the exact year of production (they were produced around 2001). I'm puting this bass here becouse I don't play 4 string anymore. (1550 GBP shipped to EU/GB)...Thank you for looking W.
