This used to be my cab. I can confirm that I never gigged it and that the owner prior to me was John Giblin of Brand X/Kate Bush/Simple Minds fame. Apparently John used it (along with the AH600SMX I bought) for 3 weeks of rehearsals and a gig, then it sat in a room in his house, gathering dust...

Just thought that may be of some interest

How much is 'notalot' round the pegs on a P bass? Got a P copy and like the idea of trying out some flats... Will they stay in tune on it? How many times round the peg are we talking?

Very good deal. I've got one of these and one of the 4x10s and they're awesome cabs. Have toured them and they've been nothing but awesome. Big sound, but a bit heavy. Can't complain at that price though!

So did anyone from basschat get the ebay V6 rig? I see bidding's ended on it! I was sorely tempted to get this but found it pretty hard to justify... Would definitely have bid on it had it lasted the full length of the auction!

Or perhaps a V-Type pre with a Trace PPA300 power amp? Not sure if there'd need to be cash going one way or the other for that?
