Very helpful all, thank you - accountant it looks to be!

Evening all, looking for some general guidance re. tax as a musician... To be clear, I work a 9-5 job as my main source of income, but just lately our band are getting some regular gigs in the calendar. Question is, how do we go about this from a) a tax perspective and as a business. We are a four piece cover band with several weddings in the calendar which will return more money than an average pub gig, so we need to act now...
All opinions welcome (apart from anyone who might tell me to keep quiet!).
Thanks in advance. -

Bought a b3 off this total gent - pleasure to deal with, buy (or sell!) in confidence!

Great little effects loop pedal with bypass jobbie, I just have no use for it at present!
Never gigged but the paint has chipped in a couple of places. Velcro underneath as well, but otherwise great condition.
£20 posted.
Photos to follow when I next practice (it's in storage).
Cheers

Awesome bit of kit, but redundant now I've upsized (note, not upgraded!) to a zoom b3.
Great condition, just after what I paid which was £50 including postage... collection is fine if you'd rather!).
Photos will follow when I next have practice (in storage at present).
Cheers

Pete (Thor) just dropped off a bass for me in west Yorkshire, having travelled roughly 200 miles. True gent, brilliant bass exactly as described, perfect transaction - cheers!

If you took the head out to keep and just wanted to flog the cabinet, I'm your man!

Would you be willing to post?

I can vouch for these cabs - very under rated and often disregarded as the cheaper of hartke's ranges - very powerful with a beefy sound!

Pants. If the Zoom sale falls through please let me know!

I have a zoom ms-60b, so good I'm after another - 1 as an always on using a combination of a preamp, compressor and a touch of drive, and the other in the effects loop of an on/off pedal so can cycle through a handful of effects, and engage using the effects loop pedal when required - nice and snug on a pedal board, and (to me) a more sensible (cost wise!) way of getting a selection of fx into your set (some for literally 4 notes) than getting as separate dedicated and more expensive pedal. Very usable sounds too and only £50 second hand. That said, I've put out a wanted ad for one, so if it comes up soon, I call first dibs! Good luck, Rick

No bassballs love? Try it, love it, keep it, or, try it, love it but can't justify on your pedal board and move on, worth it for £25! Bump!
