Hi folks, I am selling this nite Yamaha trb 1005j. I bought it this year about 6 months ago with the purpose of transform it in a lighter passive bass, but only after i found out that it would be very expensive, so I've dropping out of the project and decided to sell. The bass has been hanging on my wall since and have only done one recording with it. So it is basically the same as going on a shop and choose the bass deom the wall. Yamaha trb 1005j piano black. I've done a setup with low action. Goes with the original papers and tools.

Sold For sale this gorgeous baby Yamaha BBNE2. It is in superb condition. No scratches or dings or anything. This is my 2nd bbne2 and I got this directly from Yamaha last October (I am a yamaha endorser) The condition of this bass is the same as a new one taking a brand new from a shop's wall. The bass it self need no introduction.. It's the signature of the great Nathan East, it's made in Japan. Top of the line from Yamaha. The construction is superb. Can play really well with a extremely low action. Very versatile. The case was never used and the bass did only a few studio sessions. Neckthru, ebony fingerboard, stack humbuckers, monorail bridge, active eq, mid cut (Nathan magic knob), mother of pearl. No trades.

The sound is clean and woody and between series/ parallel, active /passive pickups and the active eq, I would say that this one can cover all. The neck pickup can sound very pbass and the bridge cuts through all. The extremely fast slim neck, plus the Birdseye maple fingerboard, makes it "too" easy to play. The action can go ridiculous low and still allows going heavy on the right hand. Despite the 10,8 pounds (4,9kg), the balance is so good that i don't feel like it is heavier than my BBNE2 (that is about to go to the market as well) The bass is in Mint condition. As a wonderfull wood grain. And the only scratch is at the bottom. There's also a tiny mark on the the top near the volume knob that it is not a scratch on the veneer, so i would say that it is something to do with the aging. Apart from that the bass its in perfect conditions and it plays amazing. Will go with the original case. I bought it, here at basschat last year, and as you can imagine it's not easy to let it go, but since there I've only used twice on studio and nothing else. Being my self a Yamaha artist 99% of the times i go with a Yamaha bass, but to be honest I am getting to that fase in life that all i ear in my head is a 4 string pbass. I know that, a few years ago i would rather only have this one on my quiver, but my ears and heart are keep pointing to the pbass. So this is the only reason why i'm selling this beauty. I can ship all over the world, but it will be at buyers costs. Theres a MRW office near by, and it is a company that i trust. Also, can meet near Spanish border or even better, I can meet or pick the buyer at the Lisbon airport in order to facilitate the business. Anything else maybe possible, it is just a case of possible ideas.

Hi, I have one of these, same year and some color, only rosewood fingerboard and it sounds and plays terrific well. It was a really wonderful series.
