1. I want this!!!! If I hadn't just paid for a holiday to the Canary Islands I'd bite your hand off.
2. Also, has your father-in-law contacted his bank to let them know that this is happening? It may be a good idea for him to let them know so they can help too.
3. That's great news about it being your Father-in-law transferring the money as it's more likely to have a positive outcome that way (as it's a transaction that took place in the UK). When is he going into the police station?
4. Have a bump on me. That price is silly money! These usually go for upwards of £1000!! (Mine went for around that a few months ago).
5. One thing I'm also yet to ascertain, did he actually own the bass in the first place? Does it exist?
6.
I'd be tempted to use those details to order myself a brand new 6 string streamer from Warwick.... On a more serious note, maybe not a good idea to post someones bank details online... thieving scumbag or not.
haha that would be amazing. I am inclined to agree though that it probably isn't a good idea to post bank details online although I would have little sympathy for the seller if something were to happen. Was the payment made to him through your Stepdad? If so then getting him to contact the police would be a good idea, as said earlier.
7. I know that if I lived closer to Manchester (i'm in Exeter) I certainly would have no hesitations about popping in and enquiring on his behalf. This marketplace is absolutely fantastic and to have people like this ruining it for everyone else is a really sh*tty thing to do. I would follow Ambient's suggestion though and try and see if you can get the payment address somehow? If I can help in anyway then I will.
8. Why did I open this thread?! I would like this to pair my Infinity Custom Shop buckeye! I don't think I can afford this at the moment though. GLWTS.
9. I believe the saddle is 1.5mm allen key and the truss is 5mm (http://shop.warwick.de/?&c=35352310036&lang=en&smk=1&modul=shop&site=article_details&article_id=D0577426001322750283A5641&article_category=&nm=)... I may be wrong but I am pretty sire that is correct. I am at work so can't double check. This is also based on my German made Warwicks so I expect it to be the same for Rockbass.
10.
Gorgeous bass, mate. I don't have one I'm afraid, but £16 shipped from thomann isn't too bad, at least you will have other tuner spares there too
No worries. Luckily the tech who lost it ordered me a new one so will be sorted this week.
11. Thanks! I just had a full re-fret and now the board looks lovely. The bass has some very small chips in the finish but other than that, it looks stunning. My photography doesn't do it justice. On another note, (and I thought I'd as in here as all Warwick owners). I have lost one of the round covers that fit onto the machineheads.. The disk in the following picture with the 'W' on it. Does anyone by any small chance have one spare? As I said, apologies for asking in here but it's a thread full of Warwick owners! 12. My Infinity Custom Shop is back from the workshop, completely restored (apart from I'm missing a machinehead cover if anyone has one spare). I can't seem to get any nice photos of it but here it is.
13. I'm not a big Ibanez fan but I love the look of these: http://www.ibanez.co.jp/products/eb_page15.php?year=2015&area_id=3&cat_id=2&series_id=51&data_id=55&color=CL01
14. Price drop till the end of the weekend. If someone takes this off my hand this weekend they can have it for £1000 plus courier. Will be back up to 1100 Monday.
15. I saw the other one but unfortunately it's £500 more expensive! I'll PM if I get any movement on any of my sales as it will be cheaper to get this one defretted if any of mine did go.
16. I may be wrong but my Warwick Infinity custom shop is 16.5mm (but I push it out to 17mm).
