1. Brought Jon's EBS HD350.

Such an easy bloke to do business with, prompt and safe dispatch and loads of communication to keep me in the loop.

A top top top bloke.

Cheers again Jon.

All the best
Tony

I haven't tried that! May be worth giving it a shot!

My only concern doing that is switching between basses, as I surely would need to turn the volume off on the amp on the channel to do it.... Or would it work like it does now with the switcher pedal in that I can just do the foot activated volume off and on on the GT10b?

Sorry, I always get lost of the amplification side of things!!

Can you just kick the tuner on with your GT10B? I've got my Line 6 M13 in the effects loop of my GB Streamliner and always use the tuner to mute the output when plugging or unplugging.

3. TRADE PENDING

As part of the rationalisation of my effects, I realised how little I use most of the patches on my M13 so have decided to slim down to an M9. Also, as I've got a couple of stomp pedals incoming, I could do with freeing up some space on my pedal board.

I know it's a bit of a chancer question but are there any M9 users out there fancying swapping their unit with my M13?

Alternatively, I'd be looking for about £300 on a straight sale but I'm open to offers so long as I could cover the cost of an M9 replacement.

Cheers
T

Tanglewood/Overwater Classic?
I picked up an Overwater/Tanglewood Classic J a couple of months ago in a trade.

They're SERIOUSLY good basses for the money and come up quite regularly in the "for sale" section. Pop in a J-Retro at some point and you get even more flexibility.

5. I've got a CN212 and love it. I've played through the HD212 in the dim and distant past at BassDirect but if I'm being really honest, as I wasn't looking to purchase a cab at the time, don't remember that much detail about it other than it sounding fantastic.

When I brought my cab, I seem to remember Mark saying that the CN was a really great match with the GB Streamliner as it had a little more presence in the mids but the bottom was a little tighter compared to the previous HDs.

TBH, I could be wrong as it was months ago and I've been to sleep several times in the meantime ;-)

Maybe give Mark a call to see what his views are?

6. Ok, ok, I gave it a go. I put it up for sale and then changed my mind. And had another go. And then came to the same conclusion. Maybe it's not to be. I'm not good at hitting things.

Up for sale is my Alesis DM8 Pro electronic kit, purchased less than a year ago whilst under the illusion that I'd really make it as a drummer AND a bass player. I've since realised that it ain't quite as easy as I thought and I really haven't got the time or effort to learn. I'd rather rationalise some cash to plough into a new bass, some FX or perhaps some other gear.

It's a great kit to play, really convincing presets and loads of potential to connect via USB to your favourite DAW for recording. It's had very light home use and I've kept the boxes.

Also included is a Mapex throne, kick drum pedal and a couple of pairs of sticks.

Because of the size and weight, collection preferred from Solihull in the West Midlands.
