    In my opinion ( personal experience), the less gear the less fuss.... I recommend getting a passive mixer - they come pretty cheap these days. Speakers should be active IMO.

    Hey, does it sound close to a real deal? I have played FAME MM copy ( musicshop.de) with Seymour Duncan MM pickup and SD 3 band preamp... Wow it was awesome. I just don't think its worth investing in a real Stingray anymore, especially now that price have gone sky high, or so it seems to me...
