  5. This early Status Energy with graphite reinforced maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, has two active jazz pickups giving a great range of tones. Converted to fretless by ‘The Gallery”, Camden it has great potential as a cheap, high quality fretless. The bass has been used and has some minor marks and a little buckle rash on the back. It comes with flat wound strings and a Comfort Strapp. A gig bag is available if required at extra cost. 6. Back on the market again. Finished in bookmatched red gloss with 24 fret maple neck and r/w board. This active bass has twin soapbar pickups, plays well and several others have remarked on the quality of the tones available. The East J Retro Deluxe also enables great passive tones, rich deep bass notes and high end clarity. The original East box and the original Washburn electronics are still available so it could be converted back and the Retro used elsewhere or sold on. This is a great looking bass in very good condition. What looks like marks on the body in the photographs are reflections. 7. It is in 'Classic' tuning of fifths and fourths. The five melody strings are in descending fourths and the five bass strings are in ascending fifths. String 1 is the highest, thinnest string and is a D just below the high open E of a guitar. The scale length is 36 inches and the lowest string is an open B as on a five or six string bass. Strings are usually tapped onto the fret so the lowest tapped note would be C.
  8. My little used 10 string graphite Chapman Stick is for sale. Originally a left handed stick (factory modification) it was then set up as a right handed stick but the fittings are still there to return it to left handed. Serial number is 2077G. It is complete with gig bag, flight case, shoulder strap, waist belt, tools, some spares including some spare strings, tools and a Free Hands tutor book. If you want to know more about these amazing instruments look at www.stick.com for more details. Selling all my gear due to a problem with my hand. Don't miss the chance to get this rare, high quality instrument. 9. My bitza bass isfor sale, put together from parts sourced on this forum. It has a 1976 Fender Jazz bound maple neck with block inlays, a no name precision style body finished in black satin, Fender P pickups and a red tortoiseshell guard (not as pink as in the pictures). I put it together several years ago but hardly played due to hand injury. A couple of marks on the back of the neck and a chip in the headstock. There was a professional repair to the area of the first fret and the truss rod housing beyond the nut, before I bought it. Badass II bridge. I have added a close up of the headstock near the nut to show the repair in more detail. 10. Sold my Modulus Jazz to Ordep in October the day before going away on holiday. A very smooth transaction in a railway station car park. Thanks Chris, a pleasure doing business with you. Chris is a thoroughly nice guy and I would be very happy to do business with him again. Recommended, thanks Chris. Graham

  12. Back from my trip to Florida, sale back on.
  13. JapanAxe, Apologies for the delay in replying but I have had trouble accessing my computer. It has VVT controls and I don't believe the PU's are separately hum cancelling. I will try to check this out online and also unpack the bass and give it an airing to find out. Graham
