  1. Acoustic Image Clarus SL 606IA Plus 650W amp in mint condition with bag and mains lead. Well reviewed in Bass Gear online, etc. and currently priced £719 on Thomann. I purchased it new in 2021 as a back up and I have used it four times. The amp had a new power module last April, fitted under warranty. I am doing a lot of gigs without an amp and I can't justify keeping it.
  2. Hi, the one in the picture was from Soar Valley Music and I have another one, a bit more padded, from Tourline Premium. I hope that helps.
  3. Euphonic Audio 1 x 10 speaker cabinet, 17lb with 4-ohm speaker rated at 250W. Dimensions 15"H x 12.5"W x 11"D. Great for small gigs, with quite a flat response. The handle on the bottom is a useful feature, allowing you to angle the cab upwards. I have always stored this in a cajon case, included, so it is in great condition. The side handle can rattle so I wedge a Markbass keeper in it, included. I have two of these and I never use both, hence the sale.
  4. Seymour Duncan SPB-1 for P-bass, unused as new. I bought it to put in my Japanese Fender but I've decided now that it doesn't need a new pickup. Seymour Duncan calls it a 'vintage correct' pickup, based on the sound of the 1957 Precision Bass.
  5. Warwick Gnome 200W amp head, as new. Bought earlier this year as a back-up while my main amp was being repaired and used on a gig once.
  6. Nordstrand NJSV high quality 'split vintage' hum-cancelling jazz bass pickups. I am selling them because I have had my original 1978 jazz pickups rewound and put back on the bass to keep its value and original tone. These have the classic 60s jazz bass tone, full and detailed, with no hum. The covers have smooth rounded edges.
  7. Barely used Headway EDM-1 mini EQ box with features for acoustic amplification. Well reviewed online by Sound on Sound, Bass Gear, etc. As new condition. Great little box. I have just not needed it for the gigs I am doing and with the amp and DI I already have.
  8. Used David Gage double bass pickup in good condition. I no longer need this as I am using the Lifeline version which I prefer.
  9. Get your Trace watts! Up for sale is my Trace AH200 200 watt amp head, which I bought new in 1989. It’s in good working order but the volume knob slips around when you turn it - I think it’s a simple case of tightening it up inside. Not gigged for over 10 years. Always kept in a bag, originally the amp bag it came with. Obviously it’s old, heavy (20lbs) and could do with an overhaul but it sounds great - loud, detailed and robust and would be great for a rehearsal studio, etc. Collection from East Finchley London N2. I can throw in a jack to speakon lead.
  10. I'm selling my BB2 in immaculate condition, with Roqsolid cover. I bought it new in 2016 and I have only used it a handful of times, as I'm usually playing double bass with a smaller rig or using backline. It has no dings whatsoever and I use an EA doubler amp (350w into 8 ohm) so it has not been pushed. It's an awesome cabinet - check out the specs and the bassplayer review: https://barefacedbass.com/product-range/Big-Baby-2.htm Collection from north London close to the A406 and M1, or I might be able to meet or deliver for fuel costs. No trades thanks.
  11. I'm selling these individual strings. They have had very light use, some for a few weeks and others for just a couple of days. I keep going back to Evah regulars. The strings are in their original packaging and have been wiped with a cloth after playing so they are in great condition. Prices include UK postage. Sorry no trades. Spirocore Medium 4/4 A (S38) £25 incl postage Spirocore Medium 4/4 E (S39) £25 incl postage, both posted for £45 From a post last year I still have these available: Innovation 9014DB braided orchestral D £10 Evah bottom E/F# solo £20 Evah bottom A/B solo £20 Evah G weich £20 Evah orchestra regular A £20 Evah orchestra regular E £20 Obligato G no packet £10
  12. I get shielding type noise at home and I solved it by accident when I connected a mic cable to ground via the interface - i.e. the bass was connected to the 1/4 inch direct in and I also had a mic cable running from my amp DI output into the interface mic input. Amp doesn't need to be on but connected to the mains. I'm using an Audient ID4 and I was using Motu before. Give it a go!

  14. I'm selling my Fishman full circle pickup in excellent condition with all included bits - both wheels, foam and a spare unused foam, lead (never used) and instructions for installation (perhaps best left to a luthier). It is the 6 x 1mm format (for 6mm thread wheels). The pickup is clean sounding, feedback resistant and cuts through well in a band setting. I'm using a different pickup now, hence my reason for selling. Price £100 including postage in the UK. Sorry no trades. 15. What a beauty! I've had two solid body basses from Mike, both great instruments.
  16. I teach good bass technique, theory and musicianship in lessons that are tailored to the student. Jazz and classical technique (French bow) on double bass, 4/5 string bass guitar technique (picking using 2/3 fingers) and music theory is all catered for. Students have the option of taking ABRSM or Trinity exams on double bass, and Rockschool graded exams on bass guitar. You might have other goals such as auditioning for music college, sight reading or simply playing better and more comfortably. I am a professional player with a masters degree in jazz performance from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, also a published writer and transcriber for the American magazine Bass Player. I've performed a double bass concerto with orchestra and led my own band at Ronnie Scott's (see www.dominicbentham.com). I live in north London, close to East Finchley tube and the north circular road A406 and M1. I charge £30 per hour. Skype lessons are also available and a combination of Skype and in-person lessons is another option.
