  1. Hello Bart and thanks for your question! I`m sorry but I am in Germany near Frankfurt airport if this is an option... Enclosed a very good sounddemo but not mine. Cheers Mick
  2. Still here...maybe a nice easter egg for someone?🐰
  3. Hi @Andy H.and a Happy New Year for you too! Thanks for asking! Currently I decided to sell the Diva but haven`t tried very aggressive yet. Maybe in the next weeks. I must not sell but would like to. I have talked to my luthier, Magnus Krempel, who is reknowned in Germany, about your suggestion. He answered like Radio Eriwan: Sure, it is possible to do and no big problem for a skilled luthier but he recommended to leave the bass as is because of the resale value if I`m not satisfied with the end result. Since my horoscope for 2023 told me to stay away from big risks, I better sell the Diva. I made bigger mistakes in my life, I sold my Wals too cheap...
  4. Thank you very much,Sir! Especially for the picture because noone would believe that this was possible! There is so little space between the body and the fretboard... a masterpiece of work. I will wait if there is some demand for the bass till xmas , if not I`m going to talk with my luthier with your picture. If he is not keen on this job I`m going to talk to Gerald, but his workshop is 300 km away...
  5. Thanks for your support! But business is running bad anyway...
  6. Yes, this is another good idea to solve the problem, but would you do this with a 5 grand bass? If it don`t sell till xmas i`ll keep it.
  7. Brandnew at the Marleaux website! https://www.marleaux-bass.de/instrumente/diva/
  8. Talked to a renown luthier: Because of neckthrough, long fretboard and lots of dots this will be open heart surgery. If the patient survives the operation she will be "verschlimmbessert" (moreworsebettered?) as we say in Germany... ...apart from the costs. Bolt on necks no problem.
  9. Very good idea! If it don´t sell this may be a solution🤔
  10. One string and four inches more and I could be tempted🥰
  11. The fretless ACGs I´m used to have the sidedots, where the frets, the fretlines or the semifretlines would be on first "fret", third, fifth and so on. To be in tune you play on the dots or fretlines or semifretlines Not Between Them! This is the same with the Diva! But the dots are not on the semifretlines, where I need them to be, but between the semifretlines, see pictures. This is what confuses me and the Diva has a lot of dots and semifretlines, three octaves😎 To me fretlines have no use because I don`t look on the front of the fretboard, I look on the side of the fretboard when needed and cannot orientate by the Divas dots!
  12. Thanks for the tip with the tape! I must confess that had myself some crazy ideas to solve the problem including the use of black and white felt pens...🤔 but that would have ruined the bass. I´m sure I will regret selling but I cannot afford to have such an expensive bass just to look at it...( although this is real joy )
  13. I sell this beauty because the placement of the sidedots confuse me! I play only fretless basses and am used to sidedots, that are placed where the frets would be. On the Diva the sidedots are between (!) the semifretlines as they would be on a fretted bass. To a fretted bass player this is a major advantage, he must not think around a corner! To me this is hell! I thought I could get used to it but it didn`t work out... Apart from this the bass plays like butter!
  14. Marleaux Diva 6 bass with Redwood Burl Signature Top, 4195,00 GBP or 4.700,00 Euro. This bass was exhibited at Guitar Summit 2019 and was bought there from Gerald Marleaux. Current price new is 5.700 Euro; tendency to rise in the next months. Ebony Fretboard with Semi Fretlines Maple neck Mahogany Body Original Marleaux Strings Certifikate Original Marleaux Gig Bag Rest see pictures or on the Marleaux website Questions are welcome The bass has very little playtime on his tachometer and is like "shopnew". No livegigs or rehearsalrooms only played at home in a smokefree and animalfree enviroment.

  16. Any soundsamples? Thanks. Please look here, original topic of the former original owner:
  17. Bought this fantastic bass in December 2020 from her original owner for a special project, actually I`m a fretless player. Unfortunately this got canceled due to the C lockdown and I must sell the bass because she is now useless for me and definitely yes, I need the money. The bass was inspected and set up in December 2020 by Magnus Krempel, the luthier who build this bass for Andi Kristall. She is in good condition and everything works like it should and well. Ok, there are some battle scars, see pictures. In July I traded the bass for a 6 String and this week I traded her back. As mentioned above for sale again. My price reflects the signs of use. 1700 GBP / 2000 Euro Specs: 2013 build by Magnus Krempel for Kristall Basses Price new was 4.200,00 Euro Bodywood: very nice old Walnut from Weilburg in Hessen Topwood: Flamed Maple ( lots of A`s ) Neck: Maple 34 “ Fretboard: Honduras Palisander (Rosewood) Neckshape: C Shape Fretboardradius: 16 “ Saddle: Bone Saddle: 47mm Frets: 24 Stringspacing Bridge: 18mm Headstock: Front matching Flamed Maple Set neck Front-Markers: Pearl Side-Dots: white 2mm Neckfinish: matte nature Bodyfinish: matte nature E-Case Cover: Bodywood Walnut Magnetic PUs: Nordstrand Dual Coil 5 60’s PU-Position: Bridgeposition: 6,5cm away from bridge / Neck 15,5 cm Electronic: Nordstrand 3B / Coil switch Hipshot Ultralites E-String D-Tuner Fodera E-C current setup; B-G Stringing also possible without problems , used set B-G enclosed Bridge: Hipshot B-Style 5 brass black 4,6 kg including a new Tonträger Gigbag for the shipping.Worth ca. 35,00 Euro
