  1. Hi Shaggy and TheGreek and thanks for your support! Yes, I advertised a link to this advert in the FB Wal Bass Lovers group but it went totally under. Maybe I`ll do a special christmas offer next week and try it there again.
  2. Sorry, the black Hiscox case is gone with another bass! The Wal Pro 1 comes now with a brand new Ivory Hiscox case!
  3. Hi Barend, I hope you don`t mind if I use your newest video? Wal Pro 1 fretless at it`s best!
  4. Thanks for your request. Sorry, I forgot to mention...to me it`s normal that the dots on fretless basses are where the frets would be, so are all my fretless basses and I own just fretless basses.
  5. I`m selling my fretless Wal Pro 1 bass from 1988. For her round 35 years the old lady is in very good condition! Recently the bass has been checked by a reknown bass luthier and everything works as it should. The bass comes with new DÀddario strings and a nearly new black Hiscox case, not Wal branded! If you can collect the bass and don`t need the case you can discount 150 GBP/170 Euro from the above price. Shipping only within the Hiscox case! This Wal Pro 1 bass is made of an english ash body with birdseye maple top and back in a tobacco burst translucent polyester finish. The neck is a Mk1 neck with a mac ebony fretboard with fretlines. There are some excellent sound vids of Pro 1 fretlesses on youtube. Highly recommended. I`m asking 5.900,00 GBP/ 6.900,00 Euro. Too much or too cheap make me an offer via pm. Xmas Sale!!! 5.050,00 GBP / 5.900,00 Euro!
  6. to avoid further irritations: My bass is not John Gustafsons bass! John Gustafsons bass is JG 1111. My bass is W1120.
  7. I`m selling my Wal Pro2e from 1979. For her round 44 years the old lady is in very good condition with the usual playwear of those years. Recently the bass has been checked by a reknown bass luthier and an electrical engineer: everything works as it should. The bass comes with new DÀddario strings and new battery in its blue dogbone Wal case. This Pro2e is one of three made with the mahogany/ash/mahogany body as far as I could find out. The other two belonged to well-known english bass players. Mine at least was played by one of them. The additional XLR output to the jack was a custom option then and not every Pro2e has it. I`m asking 6.500,00 GBP/ 7.500,00 Euro. Too much or too cheap make me an offer via pm.
  8. I would choose both but my back has another idea😥
  9. Perhaps I should sell this one: higher fight class weight, higher price, older, less strings...?
  10. Thanks! Yes, this may be the best bass I`ve ever owned. But I can`t handle 6-stringers anymore. I´m not totally lost I still got this one: https://acguitars.co.uk/project/0348urecurve-fretless5/ 😎
  11. Thanks for nice and "wunderschönen" comments! Here is another appetizer...
  12. This ACG ÜBER Recurve 6string fretless bass was built in 2018 by Scottish luthier Alan Cringean, ACG (Alan Cringean Guitars) to my specifications, i.e. Wal specifications, and was delivered in July 2018. The ÜBER series is Alan's premium series and as the name suggests, nothing beats it! Such a bass currently easily costs more than 6,000.00 euros on the continent, depending on the specifications. I would like 4600,00 Euro / 3950,00 GBP for this bass. Specs….: • Body Wood: Mahogany • Top/Back Wood: 3 color ART Maple Burl with Maple Veneer • Body Finish: Satin Lacquer • Neck Wood: 5 piece Maple/Mahogany • Finger Board: Ebony without fretlines with side dots in the usual positions, where the fretlines would be • Scale: 34″ • Neck finish: Satin Lacquer • Pickups: ACG MC 6 multicoil pickups, these are real multicoils, like Wal! • Hardware: ACG/Hipshot bridge 18mm, Schaller straplocks , low battery indicator • Pre-amp: ACG DFM 4K filter (!) preamp, like Wal • Hiscox case and adjustment tools https://acguitars.co.uk/project/0317u-recurve-6-fretless/ With this equipment, the bass is a real whaler and even more versatile! If you don't want to or can't join the Wal hype, you should take a look at Alan Cringean's basses. I still own an identical 5-string ÜBER Recurve that I play almost exclusively now, because age is taking its toll. That's why the 6-string bass is still the way it came and has only a few playing hours under its belt. It is completely immaculate and living room-groomed. The setup was made by the respected German bass builder Magnus Krempel, who lives nearby. Unfortunately, my back is forcing me to sell this wonderful bass... Maybe the price is good only on the continent because of customs and taxes in the UK? Private sale without guarantee, exchange or return! Shipping possible after consultation.
  13. To save this threat from starving and it is not raining:
  14. I have tried to do this but failed! Can you please explain how that works?
