This one http://basschat.co.u...hard-case-l450/

Although I'd need 6 weeks to get the extra cash anyway.

Lady Bones is my barometer for all things celebrity. I asked her opinion on the KW-gate-type thing. She says KW's problem is he's shorter than all the women around him.

    So there you have it.

    There it is. Hitler.

That's fine and dandy, but he has no right to speak of other artists and say they do or don't "deserve" the award. His opinion is not the flippin' word of God, but he seems to think it is. I wonder if he even listened to the Beck album, and if so, how many listens did he give it?

    :)

Seems ok to do on Basschat though.

I wonder if KK gives KW a hard time when they get home over his white-knighting of BK..

In my head it works better if they're all broad Geordie..

'Hoo, Kanyey! D'yu ye fancee that Beeyonsay or wot like? Ar yu' tryin' t' seeay hur awse iz fatta than myne, like!'

'Nah, Luv, yur awse iz ded fat like an evry thing. It'z proppa lush an big an fat like'

    'Eeh, ya lyin' Bastad '

*KK then smashes a bottle of Lambrini in Kanye's face*

    The End

I love it when you talk dirty.

What actually is the purpose of LED's on a bass? Do they have a purpose at all ..or are they just bling?

They don't seem to be common with pro's or many big name players. I have never even played a bass with any fitted in 35yrs of playing.

They are bling, but some people think they will be able to play better with them.

Nowt wrong with bling. But they are bling.

  8. Fender Japan Power Jazz Bass Special - Late '80s. Off-white pearl.

This is For Sale only now.

Well loved, in great condition with a few little marks on the body and headstock edge, and a control knob-cap missing. Active/passive, all original.

Jazz profile neck, shallow profile and very smooth. Loads of life in the frets. Dark rosewood board. Has a carbon fibre layer and is very stable. Truss rod is perfect. Low action.

With the original slightly worn tweed case (non-Fender I think).

    Weighs 9.0lb

Thanks for the offer! That does look like a cool bass, I would be intrigued to hear it. However I think I'd prefer to hold out for a standard jazz or some cash. Thanks for the offer though, very much appreciated

No worries mate. I went out and tried a similar one to your bass today actually, they have one in the Bass Gallery. Not quite for me I'm afraid, sorry, but it was very good though. Best of luck with your sale.

I've just learned Crazy in Love for a new band and while I enjoy playing it, I had to listen to the live version as this is the version that we do. To say it was cringeworthy would be an understatement.

Great performer? Possibly. Great singer? Not live anyway. I think the idea being that if you fill the stage with enough people doing different things it will detract form the fact that you can't sing. And I heard stuff happening that I couldn't see anyone singing or playing.

I too couldn't name a single song by old Westy but to do what he did is just childish. I agree he should start his own awards show where every award should be presented to Beyonce as she deserves it doesn't she? That would keep him happy and away from everyone else.

Personally some rap stuff does sound pretty childish - the use of harpsichords, nursery rhymes, tired old rapper phrases, overuse of the word "yeah"

Rock Star? Bollocks more like it. The ability to sample someone else's songs and add your dodgy, aggressive poetry over the top does not make you a rock star. There are a couple of exceptions but they are few and far between - eg Rage Against The Machine

Beyoncé can't sing? Do me a favour.
