  1. Selling my Boss Gt - 6b. Good condition, just gig marks and all works as should. With mains lead and manual. I’m only selling as I’m moving away- it’s been a great module.  It will be available from 3rd November, but I then only have a tight window so anyone interested please allow for that.  Happy with £80 plus Hermes cost. Thanks . I can post pics later.

  3. Just thought I’d chip in on this topic. I’ve played for many years and was always a snobby “perfect neck hand position” discipline. I’d scoff at lazy players who didn’t play with the perfect position ( but nobody can prove what is the least damaging long term wrist / hand position).  Anyway, last few years I’ve developed fretting arm issues. Started with “golfers elbow “ symptoms and shoulder aching. Best advice  Ive received is from a ex athelete who owns the health club I use, who takes a larger holistic approach to injuries. Gave me exercises to strengthen all areas of my shoulders and arms (not heavy weight lifting but light intricate movements and starches)and to reassess how I position my fretting hand, even switching from perfect position to thumb over the top at random  as I want to, and doing a lot of “waiter “ stretches- and eventually cured my elbow and shoulder pain!

I have tenderness in the part of my hand on the little finger side, but accept that’s probablly age related.

So, my little contribution is- do whatever is best for you! The audience don’t care if you fretting hand is “correct “, or you have a big fat ugly thumb hanging over your e or b string! Oh, and of course rest when needed.  Good luck!

  4. And another drop to £3470!! There must be a new loving home in the Uk? I know we’re worried about Brexit and saving for Christmas, but I’m running out of time! I’m down to weeks now and not months.

I must sell . Real investment instrument.

Really hard decision, and obviously very sad, but time to pass on my beautiful Wal which I've owned for the last 20 years.

I don't need put the details of the materials etc ( in one of pics anyway).

Released July 1989. During my ownership it has been "on the road " very little and then only local gigs.  I have tried to show useage marks in the pics. On the back of the body the varnish has worn off from rubbing. There a few small dings on the top body as per photo, and tiny marks elsewhere on body, with a few on the head as pic .  No marks on back of neck.

New strings just on, and plays great. Selling with a Madarozzo gig bag.

Pleased to answer  any questions. I would prefer to sell to UK buyer and for buyer to collect, as I simply don't want the hassle , or worry, of packaging etc.image.thumb.jpeg.7f0793cecb7b5e2db7709d6804225172.jpegimage.thumb.jpeg.f4a2860d65c4303d36b39e5f12337f1e.jpegimage.thumb.jpeg.f0dfae7d0e5323e14de00e50db22e623.jpegimage.thumb.jpeg.d26e5fabe60d4e63212dd94fcd5f70ae.jpeg

  5. PRICE DROP AGAIN  AND AGAIN!  PRICE DROP to £14 including  p & p ALSO ADD JP CD Word  of mouth

I’m continuing to declutter. The JP Word of Mouth CD and also the word  of mouth revisited big band are in gc. Cover in g c with few small rubs on back; cd unmarked - expensive on Amazon! The JP 1st album; case is scruffy due to age, but the cd vgc. Both CDs hardly out of cases as I burnt them onto pc.

The book is vgc- the CD is still sealed!  Only because the book was not what I was expecting and so never used it, and had other Jaco books. I’ve allowed £5 Hermes delivery in UK. If buyer wants different, we’ll have to adjust the price.

  6. Really hard decision, and obviously very sad, but time to pass on my beautiful Wal which I've owned for the last 20 years.  Please note I will be looking to sell in 2 or 3 months max, but just wanted to give a heads up for now for people who might be interested.

  7. Thanks for the interest. All sold now.  I’ve just found a few more books- Jazz bass improvisation ( quite detailed but bit basic on examples) , “fitness “ exercises for 5 string ( just lots of warm ups in all keys!) and a vocals harmony book ( not bad, about 15 years old). I don’t want much; say £9 for the 3 plus Hermes of about £5.

  8. Hi guys; wonder if anyone can help with advice/comments please. I’m emigrating from the UK to south east Asia, and can’t decide if I should take my 1980s 5 string wal with me. Worried about possible warping? Also, a slight feeling of do I really need to have the worry of transporting my beauty , but should I instead say goodbye and buy a quality bass out there. Cheers for any sensible comments!
