  1. May well do, thanks chaps! Didn't realise it was such a small company!
  2. Hi all, I purchased a Warwick Corvette 5 string from another member on here. it had been modded with a John East 3 band premp (3 stacked knob affair). There is something wrong with the treble circuit - the boost/cut treble is intermittent. The pull bright switch works fine and the bass works fine. Just the treble knob. I've inspected all the connections and made sure they are correct - they appear to be. John East have not got back to me about buying a replacement bass/treble module - not great customer service! I have cash I'm willing to give them and......nothing. Any one got any ideas what might be wrong? Otherwise I'm going to have to put another pre amp in.
  3. I'm pretty sure the new Yamaha's have a smooth neck. I could be wrong. The CVs are heavily lacquered.
  4. A passive Yamaha BB bass will do you well - they come up for £200-350. The current BB434 is excellent. The previous 424s are also excellent. A Chinese made Squier Classic vibe 70s P bass or Jazz bass are outstanding too.
  5. Not sure if I want to sell this beauty but it’s not getting played as I favour my MTD and Stingray for gigs. Really good nick and no issues at all. I believe it’s from the late 90s. Unfortunately I no longer have the original case. Plays great, built like a tank and sounds fantastic! Can courier or arrange your own. Weight - 4.55kg. Trades: Spector Euro LX 5 possibly.
  6. I'm note sure of the top of my head, but it adjustable to some degree.
  7. Gah! I am smitten by this bass!
  8. Trades for a bass a while back and never used them realised the neck is a bit goosed. Truss rod maxed out but still too much relief. Just about playable, but I suspect needs a new neck. I’ve got an unbranded new neck lll throw in. Seymour Duncan AS1 in it.
  9. Incredibly light weight 1000 watt amp. Works fine. I had it paired with a sans amp and it sounded great and was LOUD! Used for 4 gigs then has sat gathering dust. Can be bridged at 4 ohms, but you need to wire the speakon differently.
  10. Pretty light weight - would swap for a himass that would drop into a fender.
  11. Unused, bought from bass direct for a build and subsequently forgotten about. Would swap for a badass or omega bridge, or another himass that would drop into a fender.
  12. I need other gear, so unfortunately need to sell some basses of. Fantastic bass but unfortunately is damaged around the controls. Looks like it had been dropped. I bought it from eBay not realising the damage, but it was clearly shown on the photos. My bad! Quite a depression, but the pots work fine It works perfectly, and plays like BBs do - great! Price includes delivery in UK
  13. Fairly light, two octave neck passive jazz bass. Plays great. Price includes postage in UK.

  16. I wonder if anyone can answer this question. I have a series III supernatural that has switched for each pickup to select series or parallel. This isn’t the norm as far as I’m aware. Does anyone know what each of the pickups are normally wired as? Series or parallel?
  17. A fantastic Thumb clone made out of bubinga. Brass nut, Grover tuners and active Pickups. A very well made instrument.
  18. Brand new Cort GB74 JH. A fantastic platform for mods. Comes with omega (badass) bridge and hipshot ultra light tuners.
