1.
cheers guys!! (especially marcus! nice bloke!! :) )

i think i'll just keep hold of it for a while!!

there's no harm in having one more lovely bass lying around my house!!
you've been a Warwick man for years...... I recon you'd only end up missing it once you'd sold it and buying another one.... by then ofcourse the market for Warwicks will be bouyant again and you'll have to pay top $$$

Smart move keeping it I say !!

2.
I don't think it being a good price is the issue.

Everyone is skint :) .
I think you're spot on..... the economy is flat, interest rates are uncertain, Christmas is on it's way !

A couple of years ago when everyone was releasing "new" equity from their homes at stupidly low interest rates it was nothing to spend a couple of grand on a bass... now even the best of instruments at the keenest prices hang around for ages !

Buyers Market Indeed !

.... however (having seen the bass recently) i'd just like to add it's a very nice example and very very good value for money @ £700

3. Just thinking ?

Ok so it's nice to go out gigging with a couple of basses...... different songs, may need different sounds etc....

But......When was the last time you actually NEEDED a back-up bass ?

or more to the point when was the last time you HAD to use another bass due to a failure or string breaking !

How the Hell do you break a bass string ?

I've never done it in 22 Years !

4. Allo Nicko !!!

I remember you allowing me a quick plonk on your lovely instrument at JD's 25th Bash.... nice to see you on here mate..... did you ever get around to putting up any Youtube clips of your amazing Kingster Chops ?

5. Did what could have been a complicated 3 bass / Cash "merry go round deal" with Steve..... not a pick of bother ! Great Guy to deal with, real gentleman.

Also, when a little problem arose after the deal, he worked with me to sort out the issue when really he had no obligation to do so...

don't hesitate to deal with Steve, he's a Top Bloke !

remove your mobile number from the listing, iv had thing pulled off ebay because of it

also, you wont have hundreds of advertisers calling you :)
Thanks for the advice mate..... Ebay are getting daft about stuff like that arn't they ? I guess I can see why !

7. Hi Guys,

In the past 4 years i've used :

Eden WT400 210 XLT 115XLT
SWR SM900 Golliath III son of Bertha
Eden WT800 2 x 410XLT's
EBS TD650 2 x Neo 212
Ampeg SVT Classic 610 & 810
Aguilar DB680 & 728 2 x GS410's
Ashdown ABM900 ABM410 ABM115
Eden Metro Combo with 115XLT
MarkBass SA450 410 & 115

Everyone of the above rigs has had it's strong points and limitations in use...... The Aguilar was possibly the pick of the bunch but volume was stupid ! uncontrolable in smaller venues. The SWR was possibly the biggest let down. The Ashdown was without doubt the biggest surprise, Hell of a Rock tone, massive sound and our FOH engineer loved it..... I admit it i'm a Bass Snob and I couldn't live with an Ashdown !!

I now use a Gallien Krueger RB1001 with a pair of RBH 210's and it's the best overall rig i've had, so tight and articulate with masses of headroom I can't think of a single downside, can't believe it's solid state and (relatively) a cheap rig !

8. Surely a EUB would be the best way to dip your toe into the upright game....

then.... if you're loving it.... you can take your time to find a great big sounding "Bull Fiddle"

Buying a cheap acoustic bass is a big gamble, spending around £500 on a EUB isn't really !

Mark (talking himself into a EUB at this rate)

9. Shaun's a top dood..... Instant payment made for my Lakland 4-94 and a really friendly approach to doing business, sold a bass made a mate !

my recommendation is un reserved !

10. Hi Guys,

Many Years ago I bought a lovely original Burgandy Mist Precision, then ruined it by putting in a set of P/J EMG's and bad ass bridge....

The Bridge Cover didn't fit over the Bad ass so I put the bridge and the Cover into a shoe box in the cupboard upstairs.... I eventually sold the bass with the Bad Ass in place and forgot all about the "spare bits"

Wind forward 6-7 years and i'm tidying up said cupboard and guess what ?

So I'm now selling a genuine Fender Precision Bass Bridge & Original Cover from 1978 - both in great condition !

£50 the pair posted in Uk - I'll get some pics up tomorrow
