The 801 is a very special products, in my mind he is a perfect product for the peoples like to have a nice sound also when he study or play in a small gig. Many small products are in the market but i made it because i liked to have a "professional sound" in a very small size. Ther is a tweeter that yiu can buy if you like to have more "high". When you play it the sound is natural and warm and you like to study at home or when you travel, That was my idea

If you caan try to put the Micromark 801 on another cabinet like 2x10 and you will check, naturally this for small gig for home it dounds in perfect way and also to study thanks his aux in. Naturally my topic is because i made it.

Dear all on Basschat, i was reading with more time all post, are many but i think that i need to explain better about wich kind of material i use on my cabinets and combo. Personally i alwayse preferred poplar plywood,that is not cheap, but for his physical characteristics is the best: ligth, strong, perfect to out screw and no problem with umidity, infact in my story we NEVER changed one cabinet. When i was starting to make my amps, to have some monay i worked as service guy, and was very important school for me, i have seen many kind of wood that brand used, so I decided after for poplar plywood. Some years ago in Italy i decovered a real nice Wood chipboard of poplar, it has the same weight of plywood but was more cheap! So some of my models was made with this material. Now i decided to come back for all my model to use poplar plywood, is the best choise for me and now i decovered a very good one!! It is important that you know, as some of you wrote that on my web there is that i can change my specs any time. This not only for legal matter but because my production is always in "improvement mode" i want to say that if i decover or decide to change some specks because we improve our know hiw or exoerience, i will put on all my products, so it is possible that some heads of 3 years ago is not the same today! For example we decovered after some years that there was some possibility to increase the function of our amplifier and we did it in all amps that we use. I hope that what i like to say is clear. Any case next week i want to show you as we work in the company with some video. I hope that if i continue to write here is not a problem for basschat. As I told i will speak only about my products and not as advertising, but because i decovered that this chat is a good way to give to the customer the rigth information and to understand where we make mistake. We will show the first line of products in Frankfurt. Will be some guitar combo like HD130 212 and RD50, we respected the pilosohy of his old project pre solid state and power tube section... many news during the first day of Frankfurt. Dear all, i reply now because we are working on new products to show to the next Frankfurt show. As some of yiu wrote I am excited to show a new Music Man guitar and Bass line:back to the future! Now to reply some of question, after our discussion on this forum I decided to go in production and i asked to my peoples to take all weigth of all products on 100 products so i can check exactly the weigth and his dispersion. Any case all products are more ligth as i wrote before. Another important matter, some of my guys from service wrote that i used MDF but this is not correct! I never used MDF, i love poplar woods for musical instruments. MdF is dangerous for umidity, is really heavy and we cannot use the screw as i like, so it is not good for Professional music instruments, i like a very ligth wood, great sound, also we have a special way to make cabinet, also now in Indonesia nothing is changed and i NEVER changed a cabinet in my story, we check all cabinet 100% in my company as always before to send the products and all my Tech guys that test the cabinets are very smart to understand some vibration!! The last thingh that i want to write is that i am thinking to do a video in my production in Italy, i will do this with GoPro very soon, yiu need to see as my peoples works and which kind of control we do on our production.and the video will be on one normal work day! We check 100% of amps that we ........ you will see! I hope that i replyied to all your question. Only anotjer small story, yesterday i received a very bad email from a customer in US because he was not happy about my service there. I wrote to him personally and then my collaborator Sandra wrote to this guy and we solved his problem in 12 hours! That is what i want! In Italy we resend the gear that come in the company for service in maximum 4 days, also we ship to the dealers a Courtesy head for some musicians that has some problem with his products. So this is the philosophy that i want to export, but believe me is not simple. And feom today i started woth a special program to inderstand in all tje world how many time my customers need to wait for his gear! My goal will be to reduce this time in all the world not more one week, i will do this. I think that i wrote to much but i decovered that here i can speak with my customers and i like thay you know my world with correct information. Therei is not any factor! All rest of the Amps is the same on mini cmd 121.

regarding 102p as i wrote was my decision, but i check and i agree that traveler is Small light and with great power, so i will check, any case here i don't like to convince any one that my amps is the best, for this you need to try and to hear it, but i like that you know that the quality is better and there is no any compromise on it! about to publicizing it in right way, there is not a right way , but as I told you i recheck all here in Italy and my way to make my cab is not the same of other brands! this is very important point! many of you knows the story of some big brand, that had many problems with his Asian production and no one can say that it improve his quality! i can say this! I hope that my philosophy is clear, that is the more important things.

excuse me for my english I know that is not the best, I decided to use a Particle Board for 102P because I was worried about vibration, that we never had, but i can admit now, that we are coming back also in this mode, we decrease the weight only for wood, I am using a special kind of Multiply , also all my wood is ready for export, that is another plus in the cost

Dear all, first i like to say you that i read many thing that is absolute not true, for example there is a discussion on MDF that i never considered for my cabinets for two matters, it is to much heavey and because for quality. so when i decided to check the possibility to make my cab in Indonesia i checked several kind of wood, and at the end i decided for the two that i was using in Italy: .after many test i decided that all my products will be in Poplar, and the kind that i am using in Indonesia is a great quality and also more ligth that i was using here. Many of my competitors speak about the lightness of his products , but my products is always the more light so I am decided to give another plus to my cabinets. there is only a cabinet that is Traveler 102p that i decided to make in PW ( Particle Board), and is the only case where the weight is little more that before. Regarding speakers, as i wrote is many times that we are not using only B&C and the Thiele and Small parameters are the same!! here a list of new weight and old of my cabinet: STD 104 HR WAS 25,5 KG TODAY 21.5 KG STD 151 HR WAS 24 KG " " 21.5 KG STD 104 HF WAS 29.9 KG " " 25 KG COMBO MINI CMD 121 WAS 13.5 KG TODAY 9.9 KG TRAVELER 102P WAS 15 KG TODAY 18 KG ( THE ONLY CABINET THAT INCREASE HIS WEIGHT) STD 104 HR BLACK 35.3 KG NEVER MADE IN ITALY ( CLASSIC SPEAKERS NO NEODIMIUM) CUSTO SPEAKERS FOR BLACK LINE as you can see thanks to the fact that we are making it in a new place we improve our features. important matter: we used always the screw in my cabinet, no other company do it, and when my supplier in Asia asked me why i use this way to do it, i said because we are Markbass and never never we had one cabinet in our brand life that come back for a problem in his box!! also i tried personally the first 500 cab made in Indonesia and never there was a problem, we worked very hard with my suppliers. the only things that i don't like is that now much more peoples knows as we make our box! i wait your comment to give you more info, and all we will write all new wight in our web, but please understand that the weight of wood can change of each shipment. another important matter: i read that some peoples ask to to some test with my cab, please remember that all cabinet has some small difference also if it is the same model! this because the speakers ( all speakers not only mine) has a dispersion around 20 % in his spec; also the position in the room can change the result in amazing way! i have years of experience on this, so please put a great attention when you hear difference!

For sure I will stay with you. But naturally i will never can write about other brands. But i share my passion, tomorrow i will write the story about my cabinet and his weigth. Thanks
