1988 Warwick Thumb Neck Through 4 string bass c/w case. This has the original EMG pickups fitted. The truss rod has been replaced in the past, and the new one is slightly longer, which means the truss rod cover doesnt fit. I wish I knew the woods used, if anyone can shed light on them I'd appreciate it !! No Trades please. I'm cutting down down to a bare minimum as I don't play any more. If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask. If nothing else it'll save me using a 'bump'. This is a Blade R4 special edition guitar with a strat single coil sized sized humbucker in the bridge position. I was led to believe only a small number of these were made by the person I bought this off. It has active electonics that can be switched in and out. It is in mint condition having hardly ever been used. Not because I don't like it, I'm a bass player with guitar playing ambition but in reality I'm not good enough for a guitar like this ! As I'm making room in my house for things like a guest bedroom, some things have to go. I'm led to believe this was probably built in the Eggle factory in the UK. Its a stunning guitar which won't fail to turn heads, and their reputation is exceptional. These don't come up for sale every day. Bass Players, let your guitarists know about this, but be quick. it sounds much better than it did with the Aria electronics. Good as it is, would probably be even better still with one of the newer breed of pre-amps

I've had this since the 80s. It has a lovely action and hardly a blemish on it (just marks on the control cover plate). I got frustrated with the sound and end up ripping all the electronics and pickups out. It now has proper Kent Armstrong pickups (when they were made in the UK by Kent himself, and used by the likes of Overwater and other British makers of the time), and a 9v two band active circuit again from Kent Armstrong. It has a brass nut and bridge assembly. through neck contruction, and I believe the fretboard is ebony. Sadly as I'm downsizing due to not playing she will have to go but will be missed. Anything else you want to know, just ask

4 string Status Empathy bass for sale, with Status case (no key) and spare set of strings. This has a graphite neck through body. There is a small scratch on the neck which is the only mark i can see (although I don't notice it when playing). No trades as I'm reducing my collection so I can get in to the spare bedroom ! To all who asked, the weight is approx 9.8 lbs (approx 4.5 kg). This is only an approx weight as I did it by standing on scales with and without the bass and that was the difference (but I can't swear on the gospel that it is absolutely accurate).
