    Hello folks I recently acquired a Cool Z Medium Scale P Bass. It's real nice (might swap out the pickup at some point mind - no rush) The thing that bothers me is the balance - even on the strap It's a bit neck heavy and am looking at some options to help out - but reckon I could start by swapping out the tuners for something light weight? I have NO idea what these tuners are - but wonder if anyone knows of a lightweight drop in alternative without doing any drilling? Many thanks

    I have one of these - nice bass and cost me a fortune to get it imported from Japan! Can't believe it hasn't gone yet. Shame I already have one coz I am right around the corner in Archway

    For sale is my Fender Jazz Junior (Made in Japan) 30" short scale - in sunburst with tort guard I have owned the bass from new and was imported from Japan via Bass Japan Direct The pickups have been swapped for Lindy Fralins (originals also included) and the tuners for Hipshot HB10s (originals also included) The original gig bag was really just a dust cloth, but will provide a Fender padded gig bag Pickup only from NW London please - and of course you are more than welcome to try out Also open to trades for any medium scales Any questions - give me a shout !

    Folks - I posted a question on the Fender Reddit AMA today regarding any future Fender medium scales and this is what they came back with "Great feedback. We have been thinking about where we could fit a medium scale bass in the range. We’ll keep this in mind for future launches"

    Yeah great bass. It just isn't getting as much love as it deserves. I have a MIJ Jazz Junior which is getting most of my time at the moment. Would be very curious as to how many folk here have actually played this bass.

    Hello May very well regret this, but this was a 40th birthday gift to myself. And now I have to admit that I just don't play it as much as I thought I would and it is a tad ridiculous that I own this! So reluctantly exploring moving it on. So here goes This is my 1977 Fender USA Mustang Bass. Bought from https://www.vintagerareandretro.co.uk/ about a year ago. Bass is well played, the usual nicks and wear and tear from a bass over 46 years old. The headstock seems to have taken the biggest hits! Volume and tone controls work correctly and as far as I can tell the tuners and bridge are all original. Nice playing bass, just a bit wasted on me Also comes with hardcase Based in London and would be looking for pickup only and of course you are more than welcome to try the bass out Cheers Adam
