  1. Excellent - look forward to catching up.
  2. Yes, it seems that everyone values and likes print - so whilst there will be a digital issue for those that want it, print will be our primary product.
  3. Yes, the sample issue will be sent out to everyone who subscribes to the magazine.
  4. I absolutely agree with your comments and as you can see from the front cover of our sample issue we will be looking at bassists from all genres and we want to ensure that whatever you play you can get something from the magazine. I'm going to chat to as many people as I can at the show to galvanise what people want to read about but like you I share an interest in what the average grass roots working bass player is using and why. Hopefully you will give us a try and like what you see/read!
  5. OK, let me know if no joy and I can get the subs house to try and sort for you. If you want to e-mail me then you can reach me on [email protected]
  6. Absolutely agree with your sentiment and we will be covering artists and gear across all genre so that there is something in there for everyone. Come and chat to me at the show and let me know who you would like to see in there and we will do our very best.
  7. Hi Dave, The reality is that lots of people still value a printed mag (including me) I've spent a lifetime making magazines and they are still so important for so many people - print will never die! Unlike the last owner of Bass Guitar Magazine we can operate on much smaller margins and hopefully we can make this work.
  8. Thank you - we will do our very best for the industry and bass players in the UK and wherever else they may want to read from!
  9. Look forward to meeting you at the show!
  10. Thanks guys - I will get this checked by the company that handle the subs in the morning. Bear with me!
  11. It is a quarterly - I will get the info on the subs page updated to make it a little more clearer.
  12. We will only be selling via a direct subscription model (print and/or digital) too niche a market to get any meaningful newstrade distribution I'm afraid.
  13. Good afternoon Mr Brooks!
  14. I have taken the brave decision to launch a new print and digital bass magazine for the UK market. I've been publishing magazines in my day job for 27 years and think it's terrible that we don't have a dedicated magazine anymore. We launch the mag officially at the Birmingham Bass & Guitar Show next month where we will have a small stand and giving away a sample issue (while stocks last) - we will then publish quarterly moving forward. Editor is Joel McIver who ran Bass Guitar magazine and then Bass Player so no cheap AI generated content here! Website is here You can subscribe via the website - our socials launch on Monday. If you are at the show next month come and say hello - be nice to put faces to names. The cover of our sample issue is here for your thoughts and comments.
