What worries me most about it apart from the price, it doesn`t seem to have digital radio,, just FM.In a couple of years, a 5k system would be obsolete. Otherwise I would buy one

I have never seen any guitars in Westlife
-
I have been learning the bass sitting down. I can`t believe the difference as I can`t play a note standing up. Can`t see the neck and what my fingers are doing. Is it just keep practicing trying, or is there a little technique that might help?
-
It does come with a Fender bag though
-
Must be a good deal as 6 have been sold

Just found out I am on the Friday night shift, which will obviously run into Saturday. I will see if I can get a shift swap, as it sounds like it will be a good event
-
Dunno why you would regret it in the morning. I have no stick man to hug, but best wishes and speedy recovery to your stick man

No, you don't even need to understand how to play bass.

Good, as I am as good at playing the bass as I am at Latin -
Hopefully we don't need to understand Latin to attend either
-
Do people have to bring something to attend? I only have a Warwick Fortress Rockbass and a 50 watt Eden amp, so nothing of any interest. Oh, I am still learning as well, so can`t play anything

Well that surprised me. I never expected it at all -
To bring the topic back to the original post, I like Deap Valley. If I had never seen them, I would still have liked it. They are playing what they want to play, and how they want to play it, and I wouldn`t run them down if they were ugly, but I don`t think the drummer is that bad to be considered looking like a man

[sup]The common belief that punks could not play their instruments is not always true. If I had any punk teach me to play bass it would have to be Gaye Advert[/sup] -

Is this a good thing, or a bad thing. I don`t really understand if it means it doesn`t work properly, or it is how it is meant to be.
The the controls have no noise and there is sound from the output -
Congratulations on your win
Can you give a little review on it after you have had it for a couple days please? -

I have noticed lots of Fenders in the classifieds on this forum. If they are so perfect, why are people selling them?

Just a "heads up" on an eBay item. While we have no doubt that "Inflammable Material" long ago passed Platinum status, we NEVER received this award. No-one ever received this award. Therefore this is simply a painted disc, in a frame that some shyster is using our name on to sell for a vastly inflated price. As someone once wrote: "Don't believe them, don't believe them. Don't be bitten twice" ! -
I personally don`t like Mumford and Sons music. I have respect for them for finding a niche, and millions of people like them, so they can`t all be bad. I think the problem with festivals is you don`t have the same acoustics as a room, plus it is not as personal. It seems a lot of people have actually got a disliking for Glastonbury rather than the bands, as there are a lot of commercialism comment, and people with class issues. It was always going to happen, as it was getting so big , that it could no longer stay the way it was going.

Listening to Planet Rock this morning and the DJ reckoned Mumford and Sons were a masterstroke by the organisers. Putting them on last on Sunday enabled the car park to empty slowly, in an orderly fashion, instead of putting on The Rolling Stones which would have made a more chaotic rush at the end

There is a local band called The Shy Teds.
Bad names could include Thousand Yard Stare, Cradle of Filth and Plain White T`s
There are some awful names here

I don`t know if he is a great bass player, but Leo Lyons enthusiasm is something I like. The clip brightens up around 20 seconds
