Bravewood is the way to go!...superb relics, and to me, look better than the custom shop
jobbies.

I had a genz streamliner 900, wasn't keen on that, got a markbass LM2 and
happy as easy to use, great sounding and as loud as the genz...must be
bigger watts!!!

The early peavey amps and cabs were a cut above, and very good value. I remember reading a 410 shootout
in bassplayer magazine..cabs under $1000 these included swr and eden cabs, and the peavey 410tx(as it was
then) sounded as good as the posh!! cabs

just to clarify, the bass has had little use so surely the pots should not be worn!
this circuit was fitted by overwater...it is a bart bc5 pickup and bart tct circuit
fitted with, I assume good quality pots!...but then again!!

G string seems very near edge of finger board,....can it be adjusted?

I agree with molan, I sometimes stack a pair of berg hs 210s..very good! but most
of the time, one is enough.

any idea of weight?

I do believe pickups are alnico.

Had very good results with berg hs 210 and littlemark 2, does not have the nth
degree of bottom end, but lower mids sit well in the mix and lets face it, the
real bottom you feel rather than hear.

Lovely bass, I have trb 5ii which is nice, but again, a little heavy!...I do believe Laurence Cottle
plays a trb 5p...praise indeed!

I find myself with an aguilar 12 driver(from the db/gs 112)..and I am tempted
to have built a tc rs 112 copy...stick it in and hope for the best!!
I realise that driver is more of a low frequency driver and no idea of the
xmax of tc driver....here, compact rules!

Looks nice!...it doesn't state weather its ported or sealed!...I am sure the 410 is a sealed box
design.

I promise, I will never use that WD 40 stuff on my guitar ever again...there, I said it I tell ya.
I shall go out and buy some servisol and that should last till I drop off my mortal coil.

The pots on my bass are very noisy ! sprayed WD 40 on the pots in the control
cavity but little better....would switch cleaner be better?
