Rootmaster

Bought my ticket last night. For both days. Met some lovely people at the last one (including bluejay) and looking forward to 2014!

I currently play 6-8 gigs per month in the Swindon area and would love to occasionally swap one of my rock/punk/indie gigs for a funk/soul thang.

Last weekend I played a couple of gigs. The first was a party, fancy dress with a Carry On theme, although I don't remember there being a penguin in any of the Carry On films (I'm probably wrong). One bloke was dressed as a gorilla in a bikini. The gorilla suit must have been hot because later in the night he was wearing just the mask and the bikini. One of many sights that night!

It was a real pleasure to meet some BC'ers today. You made the whole event so much friendlier. I didn't leave with a new bass but something subliminally influenced me to buy a book...
