  1. Still very much umming and ahhing about this... This bass is fantastic. I’ve never owned such an amazingly well balanced and well crafted instrument. Each note, from the low B (big thumbs up) to the A at the 26th fret rings perfectly with sweet resounding loveliness. The neck is incredibly warm sounding for a composite, and it does not move. You could take this bass from sub zero to sub tropical and I seriously doubt the neck would move even a mm. Fancy changing the gauge of your strings? Bang whatever set you like on, you’ll not have to worry about the setup. All this makes this bass the perfect touring bass. It’s smooth, it cuts, it has punch, growl. It’s a great bass. And it would probably cost about twice as much to buy new. It’s in great condition aside from a couple of minor dings on the bottom, that to be honest I totally forgot about, so I will try and photograh them too. - Spalted Alder body with master grade Redwood Burl top - 26 fret Composite Neck with abalone inlays and matching headstock - Black hardware (Zon bridge, gotoh tuners) - Bartolini Soap Bars - Zon/Polyfusion preamp The only trades I’m really interested in are 34” 5 string MTDs, Elrick Evos, Ken Lawrences, Adamovics, Mattesons or perhaps maybe those ones with the purdy butterfly on the headstock Pics at the link below https://www.dropbox.com/sh/l31amla3z028usr/AABsCIFqWGMjpy4RRjxXnScfa?dl=0

  3. Got some Bart soap bars? Want your bass to sound like an MTD? You need this preamp in your life!/bass. Controls: Volume (active/passive) Blend Treble Mid Bass Switch (3way mid freq select) Get those famous MTD highs and lows, with added a/p toggle and three way mid switching! Also has a unique jack that cuts the + and - from the battery for extra quietness. A beast of a preamp! Pics to follow.

  6. Sadowsky on board pre for sale. Never been used £160 posted!
  7. Who would have thought so much insanity could come from such a tiny box! Imported this from Japan then realised I wouldn't really get that much use out of it in my gigging bands at the mo. With shipping and import charges this was considerably more expensive. I'm selling it for around the price the unit actually costs. In MINT condition. Price includes postage.
  8. Radial JDV £250 (+£7 post) Great condition. No box but does come with power supply (will need a kettle lead to run)

  11. Are you the original owner? If that's not my old Sonus then it's an identical copy. It was an awesome bass, I bought another Sonus straight after!
  12. Hi everyone, Thanks to all those who have messaged me about this bass. I'm really a little overwhelmed at the amount of interest! I must say that I'm finding the idea of letting her go quite difficult (I shouldn't have named her...*facepalm*) and coupled with that, I think I may have priced her a little low. Not by a huge amount, but I visited the De Gier website today to check a few things and found that a new custom Soulmate now costs the equivalent of around £1, 900!!! I then looked at the price of a new American standard P bass to find they're now selling for £1, 300- 1,400. All this got me thinking about the bass and how much I've enjoyed owning the instrument, and how if I decide to sell it, a unique handmade instrument like this should probably be sold at a price I'm a little more happy with. Otherwise, I could be regretting giving away the first high end custom I ever had made. So... I'm going to put the listing on hold for the next week or two, have a good play, and really make sure I want to sell. Feel free to message regarding anything you want to know about the bass still and watch this space. Thanks again for all the interest, and sorry for being such an indecisive idiot!

  18. De Gier Soulmate Still not really sure about doing this, but I've just gotten a new build from Sander De Gier which is a PJ, and I'm using this less and I imagine I'll be using my new one more and more. It's a fantastic bass. Awesome playability from the wide but thin neck and the balance is just right (as with all of Sander's instruments). I have added a Stellartone ToneStyler (10 notch) and a BassMute for extra thump. Both of which can be easily removed. I will include the orginal MEC tone pot and cream pickup covers. It's in excellent condition (as it's only three years old!) but there is one TINY nick on the back of the neck. - Unique Green Colour - Matching Headstock - Black Pickguard - Nordstrand NP4v Pickup - Black Hipshot Hardware - ETS/De Gier Bridge - Stellartone Tone Styler - BassMute Price does not include shipping. Bass is located about a mile from Scotch Corner, North/North East England.
