1. I spoke to Bassdirect today and they don't stock the strings ( although they stock the bass) but said they would order them in.
 2. Thomann have them. http://www.thomann.d...ass_strings.htm

With its ultra-short custom scale, lightweight construction, cool, modern cutaway design, smooth neck finish and expertly fretted rosewood fingerboard, the D-Walker is ready to travel, pleasing on the eye and comfortable, fun and expressive in action, with a full range of tone and versatility.

Custom Short Scale - 24.6" (625mm)
20 Frets
Cutaway Agathis Body
Mahogany Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard & Bridge
B-Band A 1.2 Pickup System
Includes Gig Bag
The bass is in good condition. The gloss sheen has dulled a little on the top of the guitar above/under the E string and below the G, as shown on the photograph (the photograph makes it look worse than it actually is and has been caused by playing technique). The jack plug input can work loose occasionally. This bass is ideal for quieter acoustic sets, ideal when space is limited, great for practising on and easy to transport. Could be ideal for young, budding bassists. The strings on the bass are fairly new but there is also a new set of strings (£30) included in the £165 delivered. (£150 collected and a cuppa)
 4. I have the dvd of the Everly Brother's reunion concert, recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall in 1983. The Everlys are backed by some great musicians, in particular Albert Lee on lead guitar and Mark Griffiths on bass. I would like to learn the bass line played by Mark Griffiths on "When will I be loved" I have a bass notation version for this song but it's not as good as the one that Mark Griffiths plays. I keep listening to this song, and I've even tried a phrase trainer, but I just can't get it. If anyone just happens to know how to play this I would really appreciate some help.

 7.
Hiya could be interested in this bass for jazz style if still up for grabs let me know cheers kevvo
Hi Kevvo, My bass is still available. I would be prepared to deliver to Nantwich for £190.
 8. Thanks for the welcome. I'm not looking to trade at the moment. I have a Squier Precision which I will probably move on,its a bit heavy. My favourite bass is a Hofner violin which is so comfortable, weight and neck wise. I'm looking around at a few short scale basses at the moment but haven't decided on anything as yet.
 9. No, you can get a gig bag for it. It fits in a gig bag that I use for a Precision bass.
 10. This is the first time I've put anything up for sale, and to be quite honest I'm a little cautious with these matters and that's the reason there was no delivery option and a preference for cash. I now realise that I've limited my selling options. So a couple of questions to the more experienced sellers on here. 1. If I did get the bass delivered to the buyer how do I get my money, safe and secure without revealing my own bank details. 2. If there is anyone interested in the bass who live within a 40/50 mile radius of Stoke I would deliver it to them for £200 +£15 fuel costs. This would have advantages for both of us.

 12. £190 delivered. ( Parcel Force) I now have packaging materials, guitar box bubble wrap etc. I've had some interest in this guitar, obviously not a buyer. Is it the guitar or the price to blame? This model is still advertised at £369 but I think you would be lucky to get one at that price. ( It's discontinued) Ibanez have launched the 4 string model in a new colour (violin sunburst) £399 and a 5 string version (£???), which is transparent brown, the same colour as this one. So at £190 you'd be getting it at less than half price of the new model. If you have any interest pm me. (We'll talk) The guitar is in good condition with one tiny ding on the back of the body. The 30" scale neck is very comfortable to play and the twin humbuckers produce some good tones.
